Had a good experience with their customer service team, was quick and efficient.
This is the best propfrim in the industry they have the best rules they are the most rewarding and they also have the best support team. They are very quick to respond to emails and they actually want their traders to succeed using the platform. The two people from topstep which has been a very big help in my experience is Mike K and armanda they have helped me alot this year and they respond quickly and try to help me as much as they can. Its very easy to pass an account here and to get a payout as they dont have many restrictions.

3 weeks later, still no resolution for all of the outages. I hear there’s a huge lawsuit coming so stay far away and find a better company!

fraud. they quickly take your money but when it comes time to pay up they weasel their way out. Avoid like the plague.

They were the best prop firm in the space until they completely flipped around and started delivering some of the worst service ive seen from a prop firm. Now support wont help you with anything and the owner Mike keeps saying he will give traders compensation for blowing all their accounts, yet he sits on x and talks about how much he loves the bears when he has thousands of trades waiting for the past month for him to "Make it right" for all the damages top step caused their traders

Absolutely terrible customer service

This company first removed all other options of which platform you could trade from. And the platform has been having issue after issue for months. They will not receive any more business from me until they bring some different options back.
The platform is plagued by many many errors. Right now I am locked into losing trade because their platform broke down. The last month has been a really bad experience. The CEO admitted that they had really serious problems with the platform and offered the customers basically nothing. They will offer your a free restart I have about 3 of these now. I would wait for this firm to work out its problems with its platform before buying a combine. Customer service is mediocre at best.It takes them 3 days to respond. My last one about a program failure I was told to take a video of my trades. This is not what good companies ask from their customers.
I only recently started an evaluation with Topstep, but my experience thus far has been nothing short of amazing. The platform is excellent, offers good execution options, and has great features to track, record, and learn. They are also supported by a strong discord, which different to others actually has some awesome people sharing, participating, and educating. On top of all that, and most important to me is the customer service. I have only had to contact once, but found them to be extremely timely, helpful, and support. I have been in communication with Gabe and Emma, through different channels, and found them both to be so easy to deal with, professional, and super friendly. This for me is just re-enforcing that I've made the right choice choosing Topstep. Looking forward to the journey with this most reputable firm.

Topsteps platform is terrible - December 17th and `18th had major issues -lost money and accounts due to platform not working - Topstep CEO said he would make it right - they did nothing but put profits instead of customers!! Not to mention the other 7 days in November where the platform did not work!!! I do not recommend using this firm at all - I have advised my discord memebers to do the same! Stay away! Thank you
I've been with Topstep for a while. I've had a Trading Combine and I recently passed my free 100K combine and now I am trading in an XFA. From the times I've had problems with trading executions due to TopstepX's connection issues, they have removed negative trades. Also, support as of 2026 is fast and helpful. Angel just quickly helped me and gave me a refund. I was part of Topstep VIP, had contact with their coaches, and they gave me the free XFA. I may have to come back to see if I can put a 5/5 stars after I get a successful payout. Update: After ~3h of a payout request, I received my money. Given everything, I must rate Topstep a 5/5.
One of the discord mods "THENASDAQTRADER" Had a very timely response with my issue. I personally have not had any issue with topsteps customer support or payout system. I will be sticking with them as my main trading propfirm until live.

Been funded with top step since August last year and they have only gone down hill since, terrible customer support, terrible trading platform, terrible compensation for mishaps that are their fault.

Hi I trade over a year now with topstep and i am very happy with the products they offer and the service. The trading rules are simple and there is no hidden Information. The customer service is very friendly and quick to answer any questions. Especially the employee Mike K was very helpfull and friendly. I am looking forward to continue working with topstep.

Constant platform issues has lost me and others real money. And the people at topstep do not care. 2 weeks to get a no response from support. I lost money while topstepx (which is owned by topstep) had issues. I have received no compensation. CEO has only offered non-solutions. What a joke

Honestly at first i had no issues with this propfirm apart from thie rplatform being difficult to get used to at first, the only reason it isnt getting higher rating is because i was 300 away from passing my funded so i decided to cancel my rebill just yesterday, my rebill was for the 13/01/2026 so i was confident i was going to achieve this Today Monday, as soon as i cancel my rebill and try go onto TopStepx they tell me i have no acount active even though the rebill wasnt until the day after, it doesnt make sense at all. I also found it very annoying that they automatically close your trades everyday around 9pm (UK) even though markets stay open for another 2 hours or so tnis issue led me to have trades closed in drawdown even though soon as market reopened it would actually go hit my take profit

Complete garbage trading platform a customer support. Would never go near this prop again many better more reliable firms out there. Definitely take miss on this firm if you don’t want to mess up ur trading mindset days u can trade days u can’t days u can close positions days u can’t not the environment u want to be trading an they will avoid ur questions as much as they can 2 weeks min to get responses.

Let me break this down into key points: 1) Trading experience - TopStepX offers hands down the most effective trade execution and management functionality for day traders, especially if you are new to the business - full stop. You can place, manage orders and risk-adjust in seconds. Not to mention the overall risk management settings that can be applied to all your accounts globally or on individual account basis. Unless you YOLO, FOMO and/or over-leverage, there is no way you should end up blowing your account - full stop. Orders are executed correctly - if you read comments complaining about slippage, understand that there is no reality where 1 second scalps on a thin order book will close at the price you want, but that is a more indepth topic that applies to all brokers on the planet. 2) Payouts - the path to payout is the fastest in the industry and the initial payout caps are the most generous overall. TopStep is also the only firm where you can understand the rules and process within minutes of reading their account info on their website - which by the way is very easy to find because the account types don't change names every few weeks like with other firms. 3) Support - in my experience the team always responded in time (sometimes within minutes) to ensure a true solution to any issues I encountered. Not only that, every solution had an added bonus to make up for any profit, time or opportunity lost. The support team is very effective and super friendly - their request handling surpases that of most support routes we use in day to day situations, may it be your mobile comms or internet provider. 4) Learning material - have you ever watched TopStepTV and their extensive open to all sessions with trading psychologists, coaches and/or market veterans? If you take seriously your path to becoming a full-time trader then TopsStep truly offers added value for those willing to learn, study and grow.
I was buying topstep acc. every month for 2 years straight, never reached any payout.

*UPDATED REVIEW* 3 or 4 days ago I signed up to trust pilot just to leave a review about Topstep, after feeling like they didn't give a flying #$*% about honoring agreements with us traders if it didn't suit their current agenda. The first feller i talked to at customer service agreed it didn't seem "fair" but there was nothing he could do, he just answers phones. BUT, after being contacted by the next level up customer service I was pleasantly surprised. Josh wanted to hook me up with a couple of these, a couple of those, regardless if I changed my initial piss on their grave review... well, that alone was enough for me to feel obligated to come back on here and set it straight. I'll bang my initial 1 star up to 4 stars for the mere fact they wanted to set me straight... now I have a couple accounts I can go blow up...
