There has been a couple of mishaps the past month. From the outages, never receiving compensation. To having live chats with live agents and feeling no one really cares. I had a chat with a man named Aaron today. He showed he really cared. The issue isn't yet resolved but he is exhausting what he can do and reaching out to help me. I've never had someone be so willing to help. I was on the verge of leaving topstep due to not having proper compensation due to the outages and my accounts getting fried but he told me to hold a little longer this month to see what will be done, and contact him again afterwards. I know it's only so much he can do but I'll hold on a little longer. Thank you so much Aaron.

Topstep experienced two serious service interruptions some time ago. Apparently, the management realized the importance of the quality of online customer service and made effective improvements. Since I came to the United States recently and was worried that the change in geographical location might lead to being blocked by Topstep, I consulted the online customer service yesterday. To my surprise, they now even have Chinese - speaking customer service, and they gave a professional reply very promptly and earnestly. I'm very grateful for Laura's patience and professionalism.

Happy with Topstep. Topstep has built a solid reputation for a reason. A few things you mentioned are exactly what most traders care about: TopstepTV (~8:20 AM EST) – big plus. Having traders walk through pre-market prep, levels, and mindset right before the open helps a lot, especially for futures. Clear rules – no weird “gotchas” compared to some other prop firms. You know what you’re signing up for. On-time payouts – huge trust factor. Nothing kills confidence faster than delayed or denied withdrawals. I have been with topstep since 2022 and I honestly must say that they are one of the best in business. I’ve always been honest and I will continue to point out things I believe topstep needs to improve on, A major issue was support wait time for me. Today I had a question about a payout and I got my reply within a few hours. Huge improvement on support, thanks to Ramez he actually looked into my situation and didn’t just give me a generic copy paste reply. I hope nothing but the best for topstep and what happened in Dec was BAD, I lost 3 XFAs and yes I was extremely frustrated, although i can’t deny topstep is at the top of the propfirm industry.

I have been nothing but loyal to topstep and have always defended them. Recently there was a rule change where u have to wait til EOD to submit payout rather than as soon as u make 150! TIM THE ENCHANTER ( discord mod for TS) out of nowhere started saying I don’t have money I’m unprofitable and have no life… customers like me on topstep are saying his ALT account is professionist_. This professionist guy called me all those things because I said why do we have to wait til EOD… lol If that is his alt account that is very unprofessional and top step should advise him! By the way at first they said it was a bug the reason we can’t submit payout right after making 150 rather than eod lol

Topstep is Best firm in Prop firms. MP made the best platform for traders to use simplified and user friendly. Tiffany resolved my issues and Happy to part of topstep trader.

I had a great experience with TopStep’s support team. I initially had an issue with an accidental renewal, and the support team handled it very professionally and fairly. Paul took the time to review my case carefully, explained everything clearly, and ultimately resolved the situation with a refund. The communication was friendly, transparent, and efficient, which I really appreciated. Situations like this show how important good customer support is, and TopStep definitely delivered here. I’m happy to continue trading with TopStep and would recommend them to anyone looking for a prop firm with responsive and helpful support.

Lost an account during the December madness, but Topstep is still my go-to prop choice. I have been through support on other occasions, and it is top-tier, quick, and responsive. Topstep also has the best risk settings that prevented me from blowing multiple accounts, and the best layout out of any other firm. Most of the bad reviews are mad they didn't receive a free handout.

While recently there have been some hiccups (what company doesn't have them) overall my experience with Topstep has been fantastic. Fair and clear rules and they have always paid out on time without issue as long as things are followed. Topstep X once stabilized is the bee knees for risk management which is critical if you want to make it anywhere in this business. Even though they've had a rough patch, I still wouldn't want to spend money anywhere else. No other prop firm has a 15+ year track record.

I passed an account these guys openly denied it, I have the screenshot of me making $3000 on the account. Then on another account I faced a problem with my topstepx these guys even denied that too after talking to support for over a week. Used to be my fav prop firm but not anymore.

I have several issues related to my trading combine and questions that were promptly answered by Jennifer, What an absolute legend for helping me out. Low-key I didn't know some seemingly simple stuff but she guided me through it step by step and I'm now on my way to becoming a topstep trader!

I experienced a technical issue regarding the Maximum Loss Limit and Miss Laura was extremely helpful and quick to respond. They handled my issue and even gave me recompense for my troubles.

I’m beyond frustrated with Topstep right now. One of my trades literally disappeared from their system — gone, vanished, like it never happened — and they refuse to take any responsibility for it. Imagine doing everything right, managing risk, following rules, and then being told your trade “doesn’t exist.” That’s not just a glitch, that’s disrespect for the trader grinding behind the screen. We put trust (and money) into these firms expecting transparency and reliability. When they fail to recognize real trades, they’re not just failing the platform — they’re failing the people who make their business possible. I’m seriously questioning whether they value traders or just the fees we pay. Topstep, you need to do better. Losing trades in your system and gaslighting the trader about it? That’s not professional. It’s shameful.

terrible firm, they will ban you if you ever become "too profitable" I was banned after making 75k and randomly got banned just because, i had very few blown accounts as well.. TopstepX has to be THE WORST platform to trade on aswell, insane slippage and execution. Please save your money and sanity and trade with another firm!

I am so happy to have found TopStep and their platform thanks to my boy John from Beginner Trading on YT and TopStepX is freaking amazing and super easy to use! Their team is top notch! Jose was truly amazing at answering all my questions! He responded super fast and was able to show me the payouts etc! Can't say enough about this platform and their crew!

I rock with them 100%. Been with them since they started. Single handedly they raised the bar in in the prop firm space with TopStepX platform, TopStep TV and other clutch trader focused dashboard features. Hands down I prefer them over all others. I've never had an issue with my payouts, quick (2 to 3) business days. Yes they have had some technical difficulties as of late (platform freezing during key events, lagging) which they have attributed to growing pains. At the end of the day they work hard to make things right, so I sit tight. I can't say that about other firms that point the finger to a 3rd party platform and say: its not "us" its "them". TBH if my account gets cooked due to no fault of my own I don't want to hear that, just fix it. TS takes responsibility and hold themselves accountable, I respect that. I think their CS is on point and I've never had a problem reaching a live person. Most recently they discontinued the Legacy Combine prices for early traders. What?! Ok, you created the TSX ecosystem just migrate it over. No? Nobody thought of that? Well then CS people like Mike K. need advanced super powers! He followed up, answered emails and turned what felt like a rug pull into a positive experience. Good customer service goes a long way.

Thank you so soooo much to Gabe for resolving my issues very quickly and being super patient with me and my situation! Gabe not only resolved my issues, but gave an outline made it up me to allow me to get back onto my trading journey. Literally everything got resolved within 30-minutes which is much faster than Topstep used to resolve things in the past. Good looks, Gabe and thanks again. I am literally able to get back right in the market today and won't have to wait days. Great experience, seriously and truly.

When ticket get escalate to L2 it literally feel like another decade before a update is provide. Also if my account is close despite position was moving up with market direction and being close in profit. Apparently their L2 think this Maximum loss when it isn't. Can't even argue with these L2 since they go through their L1 to relay information. Such huge waste of time.
