Saxobank was a great personalised boutique broker about 10 years ago. Ever since it grew it service to standarized. Now it sends email, where you can not reply. It has partly standardised faulty procedures. An example: They tell me to update my information, but have not checked my situation. When i answer via email the system tells me .. we do not answer emails. I shoudl call them. The sender me a reminder via email.. i can not answer. JUST A DESASTER ... The 2 stars should be 1.. only because they once were good!

⚠️ Serious warning for investors Saxo Bank closed my account without explanation, even though I provided all required KYC documents covering the past five years. They then kept me waiting almost two months to transfer my funds. My cash (high six figures) disappeared from my account with no transparency, and I received contradictory information from different staff. This caused stress and financial losses because I couldn’t invest. I’ve escalated the case to my lawyer, MAS and the Singapore Police Force. If you manage serious assets, think twice before trusting this platform.

Vivek was patient with me while we were on the phone. I had to login to ascertain the email I had used for Saxo. He was holding on to the line while I was attempting it. We resolved the issue.

Saxo Groups onboarding process for new customers is lousy. Their IT does not work. Their online explanations of how to do things are too long and complex. There is no – or unfriendly – personal help. I'm closing my account one month after I opened it, staying with SwissQuote. I work professionally with IT and banking and can assure you that Saxo Group is at the bottom with both. I suggest: Stay away from Saxo Group.

Saxo investor temps you to invest with promotions, and after a few months they request complex, often private info on years of income, private details of real estate buyers etc. Questions became more and more private / indiscrete, untill they limit your account. I recommend other platforms, also because of lower costs.

Saxo is one of the best out there, with amazing product coverage and good technology. Charges are a bit high, but you can expect that from a premium brokerage

Great platform. Great service and product. ISA and Cash accounts. I should add that the API is also nice to have whether you simply want to automate reporting or actually want to trade and do risk. You don't feel discriminated against simply for being a "retail" account. The SIPPs seem a bit pricy (I ballparked something like 1500 pa carrying fee compared to say a Barclays or IB SIPP around 300-500, but please correct me if that is wrong) but they are fairly new to Saxos so maybe the price structure will change as the negotiate their aggreements. SIPPs are notoriously a pain to setup due to regs.

Saxo closed my cash-secured put even though it was fully funded. Instead of letting me take assignment and use the cash I had on deposit to buy the shares, their system triggered a margin call and automatically bought back the put, also closing my long calls positions.

I moved from Saxo overseas to Saxo NL - did the local KYC, deposited funds. Account immediately locked as Saxo wants to review source of funds. supporting documents provided, have been chasing them ever since cannot deposit, withdraw, or trade. unacceptable process, timelines and service quality.

Fifteen thousand pounds worth of shares have disappeared from my account and Saxo have had seven months to come up with an explanation. None has been provided despite many hours working on there communication systems. They are now ignoring me . Do not trust this broker

The support is quite well structured. First through chatbot, and when that did not work, a live support through chat was provided. When that also did not resolve the issue, the support (Aditya) called me, I provided screenshots and he solved my problem. Also explained some features of Trader Go that I was not aware of. I did not have to wait much for support to come.
