Stay away from this firm. They wouldn't lease my funds, and their live chat support was useless. I was fortunate that BLAKE - Spec trum stepped in and assisted me.

Scam site don't trust them!! I got ripped off !!! Thankfully “ t rade c laim” was able to retrieve my £47,000 without any problems and delay.. Highly recommended

Their service desk is useless and they are extremely rude. All of a sudden I had the buy and sell button greyed out and the platform while trading ftse 100 and nothing was working in the middle of a high value transaction risking, almost lost my profit as a result. Avoid this broker. Not pro and nor reliable!

IG why trade anywhere else. Great platforms no issues with drawing monies straight into your bank account within minutes. Tried other platforms but not the same so easy to use 1st class.

Impossible to get in touch with them other than email, with several days delay. No-one answers the phone, ever. Chat function is an AI bot and even if you’re put through to an agent they don’t reply for hours and when they do you have to notice they’ve replied or they close the chat! If I could cancel my transfer of stocks to them I would, I’ve made a big error in choosing IG.

Terrible company, that just lies, I’ve now had to report them to the financial ombudsman and will be chasing up with the ICO when I get a min. I had a demo account and wanted a live account. They asked for all my personal details, including investment accounts, and savings, then declined the account, yet two other companies since gave me accounts instantly. They had been requested to remove all my personal information as they have no need for it, a live account wasn’t ever set up. This should have been done to comply with gdpr. Instead I kept having to chase them for months, to get generic emails saying we have passed it over and requested it. This in my opinion would mean they’re data harvesting, why else would they break gdpr rules/guidelines and not just delete the information they’re ment to delete? Not worth the stress or agro, plenty of other companies who actually have customer service They replied to imply they care yet ignored last few emails. I now have the fca dealing with it as I’m not wasting any more of my time.

My first day experience after I opened my account itself was very awful. I transferred money with their quick bank payment using QR and the payment got debited from bank account but did not land into IG account. It was almost impossible to hold any one over phone or chat only you get AI response and i lost my trade as well.. very frustrating and horrible customer service experience ..It is almost 2 days but till now money is not credited into IG account

IG has always been helpfull when i have a question or problem that i need help with.The only thing i would say is i had to wait a good half an hour for a consultant to answer the phone.But consultant was very helpfull and sorted my quiry.

When I placed order too many complicat options the platform has to be simple and clear to understand. the complicate is like limit day/limit all session/like that is too many so you should reduce those too many options and make simply you should use trailing stop and stop loss and take profit this options easy simple everyone understand this has to change all accounts like ISA share dealings cfd

I have been waiting for my accounts approval since November 2025. I have messaged the IG Invest WhatsApp twice and still had no response. so far a very poor experience indeed.

Waited 30 minutes to have y account reactivated. No issues at all with the guy who helped me, but 30 minute wait to be dealt with is rediculous. Tried to reinstate my account the previous day, gave up after 20 minutes plus wait. Get some staff to deal with customers, rather than relying on the stock introduction” we are experiencing high demand at present” How come all calls to every UK company start with this lie??????

I suffered a run of fast moving margin calls in a fast moving market today. Mysteriously and for first time ever ig decided to block my funding of the margin saying “failed verification “ as reason for not completing transaction and closed out positions costing me lot of money. The support staff were of no support at all - useless really . I managed to contact them to attempt funding over phone to save position but they failed to do that . Ask yourself is there something more sinister afoot here or is it just plain coincidence ig closed me out whilst blocking my immediate funding of my account . Hmmmmm it’s my opinion they did it to close out my positions and cash me out . Or is it just pure coincidence it happened this very am when markets went daft . Careful with this lot I smell a rat

I can’t get through to customer support. I’m locked out of my account and can’t check my balance. Can you provide me the best number and email address to contact IG support. Most importantly I want to speak to a human. I get scam WhatsApp link and fake live chat support when I visit the homepage so I think my device/phone is compromised.

Not suitable for precision execution. If you trade higher timeframes only, IG may be acceptable. However, for lower-timeframe execution (M5/M15), the price feed regularly fails to print levels that trade on the underlying CME market, resulting in missed fills and distorted structure. This is compounded by wide intraday spreads, which further reduce the ability to execute at key levels. After moving to trading CME contracts directly, the difference in price accuracy and execution was obvious. Fine for HTF reference — not suitable for traders who rely on precise execution.

I’ve only just started down the trading avenue and have found IG to be seem less but also extremely valuable in regards to support, understanding the platform and general trading information. Highly recommend, especially for someone just starting out.
