DO NOT use this site , it’s a complete scam !
IG.com have changed the way you trade. you used to get live pricing with a 'guaranteed' price and countdown clock to complete (even if they'd invalidate it if the price changed too radically) but now you get the 'market price' with an inidicative value and no clock so you don't know what price you're actually getting. no clue why they've done it wihout any announcement but it feels like loading more risk on traders.
IG customers services are awesome and respond to an enquiry so quickly and very easy to understand, amazing. Thank you so much.
I opened an IG account after seeing the February 2026 Deposit Match Promotion featured by MoneySavingExpert. I used the promotional code and later received an email from IG stating: “Congratulations. You have officially qualified to get your deposit matched.” The email explained that I simply needed to remain invested or place trades each month until 30 June, after which my deposit (up to £200) would be matched by the end of July. I relied on that confirmation and ensured I met the ongoing conditions. When I contacted IG to ask when the cashback would be paid, I was told that I had never been eligible because my investment was in a Smart Portfolio rather than a qualifying Share Dealing account. This was extremely disappointing and confusing. Not only had IG confirmed that I had officially qualified, but my Smart Portfolio is also displayed under the “Share dealing accounts” section of my account, which reinforced my understanding that it qualified. My issue isn’t simply that I didn’t receive the cashback—it’s that IG confirmed I had qualified and only later told me I was never eligible. I feel I was misled by those communications. I have now submitted a formal complaint and asked IG to carry out a thorough investigation. If IG reviews the matter fairly and honours the £200 deposit match it confirmed I had qualified for, I will happily update this review to reflect a positive resolution.
Have used IG for many years, reliable platform that is increasing in capability & access to markets all the time. Customer support is excellent, especially via WhatsApp which I find a particularly useful way to submit any queries I have. Often, the AI chatbot can answer the question and I can escalate to a human agent if that is required, all in the same chat. As you would expect, the AI bot is getting better with time and is already very IG specific. The (human) Client Support teams at IG are excellent - responsive, courteous and efficient.
Main thing was agent solved problem. Long wait for call to be answered did not well the experience. Agent was helpful and knowledgeable. Thanks

I am working with IG since 5 years. IG has an easy to use platform, correct spreads and very fast order execution.Once I had problems with an withdraw an employee of IG - Wesley could manage the problems super fast, professional and in a very friendly way. I can recommend IG and I can 100% recommend Wesley the employee of IG.

I recently contacted customer support to sort out a small error in the way IG adjusted my account for a FTSE dividend payment. Delcio Lopes was exceptionally helpful and efficient in resolving the issue for me. Throughout the process he kept me informed and never made me feel that I was being a nuisance. He really is a great asset to IG - above and beyond normal customer support!
Hi Recently I had issue where money was withdrawn from my account by some unknown people. I was shocked . I rang IG and was attended by MR YESH. He was extremely helpful n prompt in sorting out everything and getting my account balance to the original amount Also YESH was extremely helpful in setting up 2 factor authentication in my account. Completely satisfied with the respone. Thanks

I have been dealing with a Deceased Estate and in need of urgent assistance regarding the matter. Luckily after multiple calls, I spoke to Devesh Bathija from the Customer Experience Team. He was very professional and helpful, showing genuine care to preserve the customer experience and help with my issue. He is a true asset to the team and the customer service experience as he immediately looked into my inquiry and got it actioned. I left the call with confidence that progress is being made regarding my matter. He also was hands on with my inquiry confirming if any updates occur, he will get in touch. This experience with dealing with Devesh Bathija has made me assured that IG care about its customers and the experience.

I've had a really good experience with IG, especially because of my account manager, Adeline Lee. She's been incredibly patient, understanding, and supportive from the start. During a difficult period in my personal life, she actually encouraged me to take a break from trading and focus on healing instead of forcing myself to stay in the market. I really appreciated that because it showed she genuinely cared about my well-being rather than just getting me to trade more. She even treated me to lunch, which was such a thoughtful gesture. The IG platform itself is easy to use and I've never had any issues navigating it. That said, trading always comes with risks, especially when leverage is involved. No matter which platform you use, it's important to understand what you're investing in and manage your risk properly. Overall, it's been a positive experience for me. Thank you, Adeline, for all your support and for always looking out for your clients.
IG are expensive for trading overseas shares. An FX conversion fee of 0.7% is no longer competitive for someone like me who buys mainly US stock. As a comparison, Trading 212 charge 0.2% and Interactive Brokers an incredibly low 0.03%. Moreover, IG often can't get the basics right and their customer service is patchy at best. I do use charts and have been emailing IG continuously to get one of their charts fixed which was butchered following a recent stock split. Despite constant reassurances that it was being looked into, it hasn't been and the chart is still unusable. How difficult can it be? The platform is great, I have to say, but that won't be enough to keep me tied in long term. It's a shame because they were really helpful when I did my initial transfer in.

Application for account took way too long. It was even laid aside since someone took too much time at IG to fullfill it. After connecting with Ali from the helpdesk we managed to get the application on track and all is now in order. People make mistakes, that can happen, Ali understands customer importance and corrected the mistake on IG behalf.
If I could rate IG.COM a negative trillion stars, I would. THEE WORST BROKER. I have been in a loop hole for an entire month trying to withdraw my money. I have tried many different attemps to get my money withdrawn, they keep reversing it and I have provided the necessary documentation only for them to turn around and ask me for the same documentation again and I sent them details from my bank and they actually even had the audacity to accuse me of sending them "FABRICATED" WIRE DETAILS which is absurd and stupid.. who fabricates wire details after an.entire month of trying to get their money!!!! It is sickening!! I've had enough of them!!! I am at the point where I do not know what else to do but they are holding onto my money and I am not sure if I will ever receive my money or if they are a scam. This is very disappointing!!! beware! I hope this saves someone the heartache I've experienced

Having misread the terms and conditions when i opened my account years ago. I was caught out by a technicality when I attempted to withdraw some funds. Despite this occurring due to my stupidity I approached the customer care team both by email and telephone to see how I could rectify the matter. This was a pleasant surprise as the advisor(s) I had contact with immediately took ownership and showed extreme patience and professionalism in their dealings with me, making a stressful situation bearable and reflecting so well on IG that i would not hesitate to use this company again . Without doubt I would especially award the whole team 10/10 for exemplary quality customer service.

Stay away from this firm. They wouldn't lease my funds, and their live chat support was useless. I was fortunate that BLAKE - Spec trum stepped in and assisted me.
Empty promises regarding my withdrawals. VeritasṚedress got involved and changed the situation. I got a refund swiftly.
The prevalence of scams underscores the importance of reliable recovery services. BLAKE spectrum contribution was top notch. I can smile again.
Scam site don't trust them!! I got ripped off !!! Thankfully “ t rade c laim” was able to retrieve my £47,000 without any problems and delay.. Highly recommended

No response from the support team after two emails. Multiple weeks. My account has been suspended and I still don't know why.
Withdrawals were endlessly delayed and excuses never stopped. Months later, Veritas Ṛedress took charge and resolved everything smoothly. Truly dependable.

Their service desk is useless and they are extremely rude. All of a sudden I had the buy and sell button greyed out and the platform while trading ftse 100 and nothing was working in the middle of a high value transaction risking, almost lost my profit as a result. Avoid this broker. Not pro and nor reliable!

IG why trade anywhere else. Great platforms no issues with drawing monies straight into your bank account within minutes. Tried other platforms but not the same so easy to use 1st class.
Impossible to get in touch with them other than email, with several days delay. No-one answers the phone, ever. Chat function is an AI bot and even if you’re put through to an agent they don’t reply for hours and when they do you have to notice they’ve replied or they close the chat! If I could cancel my transfer of stocks to them I would, I’ve made a big error in choosing IG.
