I’ve been an eToro customer for over five years, and unfortunately my recent experience trying to open a corporate account has been extremely disappointing. As my account size grew, I wanted to take the next step and open a business account for my company (non-financial), where I am the sole owner, operator, and director. I started this process back in November 2025 and have been actively chasing eToro ever since. The process has been painfully slow, and the level of scrutiny has been unreasonable. eToro repeatedly questioned legitimate payments from my own customers, even after I provided full explanations and documentation. They went as far as requesting invoices I issue as a supplier and scrutinising the payment methods my clients use. eToro checked my company status and my sole ownership with ASIC, but they still kept asking for different documents like a “company constitution” and “replaceable rules.” I tried to make them understand that replaceable rules don’t apply to proprietary companies. And since I am the sole owner, operator, and beneficiary, I do not need a company constitution. A company constitution is only needed when there are other owners and shareholders involved, as it acts as a contract between the company and its members (shareholders), directors, and secretary. It is also a contract between the shareholders and explains how the company will be internally managed. Despite all this, eToro kept pushing me to write a company constitution against my will and against any actual legal requirement. I only wrote one because eToro insisted on it. ASIC never mandated it for me. Even after submitting everything they requested, the process dragged on for weeks and then months, with new requests appearing after each submission. For example, every few weeks etoro asks for different invoices I issued to my clients. What makes this even more frustrating is that I am an account holder using etoro for years, and eToro advertises that clients receive priority support. In reality, they have struggled to complete even basic operational tasks in a timely manner for this issue. For comparison, other international brokers I use—such as Pepperstone and OX Securities—opened my corporate accounts within minutes once I provided the required information and my LEI. My account manager (Austin Hang) has been great, but even he admitted that the operations team responsible for corporate accounts is separate and outside his control. Unfortunately, that means he hasn’t been able to resolve the delays either. Overall, this experience has been incredibly frustrating and far below the standard I expected after years with eToro. I hope they seriously review their corporate onboarding process, because right now it is inefficient, inconsistent, and unnecessarily burdensome for legitimate business clients.

My Senior Account Manager was on the phone to check that i had meant to do what i did. He explained how i could do what i had done, better and more cost effectively. Sent me info to walk me through ( i am so not techy ) and followed up with an email and call. If eToro were my Bank i would have been over the moon with this type of service.

The onboarding was just terrible. Endless dialog with robot who is taught to provide always the same useless answer to your question even if modified, changed, tailored to the mechanic mind. Then suddenly you receive a good news in your inbox saying that the account now has been verified and you are good to begin trading. Ohoho! That was not true as instead of executing the trade order, the platform invites you to make another deposit eventhough there are enough funds to trade. On different screens you see different messages. One says that you are good to trade, another says that the verification of your account is still pending. Finally, after 15 days (although a number of public holydays were in between) you get an email saying 'we are not able to provide you with our services and therefore in accordance with our Terms and Conditions Section 26.5 we will need to proceed with the closure of your eToro investment account'. Of course, no reasons disclosed. So, I remain acceptable in a dozen of platforms but eToro. Many thanks for your time, so to say.

Still awaiting for the withdraw done 10/12/2025 to reach my account, today is 05/01/2026. Bank statement requested from etoro for the 2nd time was forwarded on the 01/01/2025. STILL NO Response or MONEY IN MY ACCOUNT This is pathetic, how money time do you escalate. how long does it take to found out the money withdrawn has not reach reach the appropriate account?

When organisations are dealing with your money, it should always be identifiable and traceable! My eToro/Moneyfarm cash ISA transfer has just completed. What an awful experience at the hands of these companies. Despite confirmation from my previous provider that they had transferred the funds 4 days ago (the process was started 15 days ago), they were unable to identify the funds until today. If you want to see your life savings disappear into an electronic black hole, where they are untraceable even by the account provider, these are the guys for you. On top of that, even though they have your money, they won't pay interest in this period. Furthermore, the money now in my account won't start accruing interest until it's 'been invested'. They advertise a competitive interest rate but this is negated by the loss of interest during this period! Apparently this is in the (very) small print, but not something they advertise. In order to get this resolved I've had to contact both organisations on numerous occasions, with little success until today. All I received for my troubles were; broken promises of returned phone calls, excuses and platitudes. All without resolution of the issue! Despite this I was told the case was closed, when it clearly wasn't. I was lured by the interest rate but wish I'd never heard of eToro/Moneyfarm.

I transfered my Cash ISA to eToro and was really happy with the process. My money arriving within 7 days which was suprising as previous experience of ISA transfers is that it usually takes much longer! I wish I could seperate the money into pots like I did with my other provider but I'm willing to sacrifice that for the really good interest rate.

I would be giving a minus 5 if possible. Very disappointed. I was not allowed to invest money in Gold or FT100. Wasn't even a large amount of money. No specific reason given even though I asked many times. I'm allowed to go and buy a £500 gold ring,no questions asked,but try and invest £200 I Gold and you can't unless you give the correct answers according to them. This is so ridiculous.

They blocked my account because, they said, I didnt supply them with certain information. They suddenly wanted my tax forms, my income, etc, etc. I asked them why and their response was blocking my account. And they never re opened it again. So stay away.

eToro is a very simple solution for building a lazy portfolio for people with limited knowledge and limited time. Everything is transparent, the support service and the AI function integrated in the portal answer lots of questions as you build your portfolio.

EToro is an amazing trading and investment brokerage platform. Copy trading feature encourages social engagement and market knowledge awareness across beginers. Fees and charges are also very less compared to other providers. In many circumstances, it has been evident that EToro tries to protect the interest of investors and also protect them from invasive trading. I have been repeatedly emailing eToro requesting transparency regarding the closure of my account on 16 October 2025, but my concerns remain unanswered. eToro states that my account was closed based on internal case logs. However, despite multiple requests, they have only provided case logs from 2024, not from 2025, which is the year in which my account was actually closed. What is extremely concerning is that after those 2024 case logs, eToro continued to allow me to deposit funds and trade normally for nearly 10 months, right up until 30 September 2025. If there were genuine compliance or risk concerns based on events from November–December 2024, then: • Why was my account not closed in 2024 itself? • Why was I allowed to continue trading and depositing without restriction throughout 2025? • What suddenly changed in October 2025 to justify an immediate closure? Closing an account in October 2025 based on old 2024 case logs, without providing the 2025 internal case log or clear reasoning, raises serious questions about procedural fairness and transparency. Despite continuous follow-ups, eToro has failed to explain what prevented them from taking action earlier and has not shared the complete audit trail for 2025, which I explicitly requested. I am not asking for reinstatement—only clarity, disclosure, and accountability. Unfortunately, my experience has been marked by delayed action, incomplete information, and a lack of transparency from the compliance team. I would strongly advise users to be cautious and to keep detailed records, as account closures can occur months later without clear or timely justification.

I am having a problem getting my money back from a company that had delisted on the London Stock Exchange. I have been chasing it for six months. They just keep blaming someone else although the purchase was with them. Continued; Etoro case 08549** Excuse is waiting to hear from their external supplier ? My other broker dealt with it in a couple of weeks who is Trading 212 Update Etoro now have Indivior PLC on NYSE.

This last year my account manager (Jigal) kept me up-to-date on the latest developments on the market and how this could be used in my portfolio. Their event at AZ Alkmaar, which I attended (AZ-Feijenoord), was well arranged. Giving plenty of options to interact with other investors and the eToro crew and get a new view on the current market. Why not the full 5 stars? Their WhatsApp channel has some room for improvement. It's a bit cumbersome, where I needed to repeat my question and it seemed like it wasn't set through to my account manager properly. But I'm sure this will be looked at

Ich kann vor eToro nur warnen. Die Plattform bestiehlt ihre Kunden. Ich habe zwei Mal versucht, USD von meinem PayPal-Konto über eToro auf ein anderes Bankkonto zu transferieren. Die Anweisungen waren absolut eindeutig. Das Ergebnis: Die Transaktionen sind beide Male fehlgeschlagen, aber eToro hat mir trotzdem jedes Mal 5 € Gebühr berechnet. Und das für eine Dienstleistung, die sie gar nicht erbracht haben! Es wurden Gebühren für Transaktionen einbehalten, die nie stattgefunden haben. In meinen Augen ist das rechtswidrig. Ich habe den Fall bereits der zuständigen Finanzaufsichtsbehörde gemeldet. Finger weg! I strongly advise against using eToro. In my experience, their practices are borderline theft. I attempted twice to transfer USD from my PayPal account through eToro to another bank account. The instructions were crystal clear: transfer the funds as requested. Instead, the transactions failed both times, yet eToro charged me a $5 fee each time for a service they never actually performed. Charging customers for transactions that were never executed is unacceptable and illegal. I have already filed an official complaint with the relevant financial regulatory authorities. Stay away!
