Why bother advertising. The app and website is a nightmare. Getting verified is impossible. Getting help impossible. I have given up. More trouble than its worth. Trying to transfer an isa is more hassle. They only want you to trade. Nothing else. At least platforms like HL have phone numbers you can call.

I’ve been using eToro since early 2021 and it’s become my go-to platform. The app is easy to use and there’s a really good range of assets (stocks / crypto / commodities) to invest in. A big plus for me has been having a dedicated account manager, Alfie. He’s always easy to reach on WhatsApp or email if I have a question, an issue, or even just want to talk about the markets. That personal support makes a big difference and you don’t get that in many places at all when it comes to investing. Withdrawals are quick and easy, with 0 problems over the years thus far. I also like features such as copy trading, which add some interesting investment options inside the app. I’ve also had access to some of the networking / sports events through the higher club membership, which have been great for meeting other investors and the eToro team. Overall, I’ve had a really positive experience with eToro and would happily recommend it. - Ben

An update to my previous review. Still getting nowhere! I did receive an answer from CS, but all they did was refer me to the T+CS of their account opening offer and claim my account was unfunded. They said that I needed to move my deposit to the USD investment account (which I knew to be wrong and wasn't mentioned in the T+CS). They also claimed the bonus was $50 and not £500 of shares. I referred them to the offer still on their homepage. 3 days later no response to that. I then received a marketing email saying as a silver member I had an account manager I could message on Whatsapp. I tried that,but he seems to be on holiday. However, another account manager replied on Whatsapp to say CS were wrong and he could see I was signed up to the £500 offer. He suggested transferring my £5000 to the USD investment account just to be sure I triggered the offer. I did that, but still received nothing but a £30 fx fee! All messages to CS through messaging and to the Whatsapp have been ignored since. I deposited in good faith attracted by the offer. All I'm asking is that they honour their end. It's all well and good their CS on here saying it's escalated, but my experience is that they just ignore you. I'm out of pocket before I've started.

I signed up for the bonus share offer for new customers, and my experience has been an absolute disaster. I followed all the rules outlined in the T&Cs, but unlike most other users, I did not receive the share after making my initial deposit. I contacted customer support, who then gave me false explanations and invented additional requirements that are not stated anywhere in the T&Cs to justify why I was supposedly ineligible for the reward. I was also promised multiple times that I would receive a follow-up email, which never happened. Given that this is a financial service asking me to trust them with my money, I cannot recommend even considering becoming a customer.

I have been using Etoro on and off for some years. 11 days ago I deposited som crypto (USDC) to my Etoro wallet. I made a request to have them sent to an external wallet the same day, but its been pending since then. I've asked them several times about why my withdraw is still pending / takes so long, and they have been giving me several different answers like for example "request failed due to insufficient funds in your wallet's available balance" and then jumped over to "eToro cannot intervene or cancel a pending transaction as it is directly governed by the blockchain. The execution time is determined by the specific blockchain and can vary based on its performance and current congestion levels." I asked AI for help with this case, since I dont know that much about money stuck on blockchain, and AI told me to ask Etoro for the transaction hash (TXID) to verify that what they are saying is true. I asked Etoro to provide this 5 days ago, but they havent replied to me, so something is not right with them, and I'm wondering if I will ever get my money...

Following my review on 9 January, I spent all weekend trying to contact a real person through their online chat service. Their chatbot continually gives incorrect or inappropriate advice. It suggested that my account was not fully verified, although I had received an email from them to confirm it was, and I could see on line that they had verified all my details. I am attempting to withdraw my own money - £5000 - to my own savings account. I have tried 12 times. I kept getting emails saying "we couldn’t process your payment right now—it’s likely temporary. Please try again soon." This morning, I was able to speak to a call handler who initiated a "know your customer" review - this was more than 69 hours after I had first tried to withdraw my money. I have answered all their questions, provided proof of ID, and provided bank statements to show source of funds, but 5 hours later my account is still restricted and they will not give me my money back. I have spoken to them a second time, but the call handler does not have the ability to resolve the issue and refused to connect me with anyone who can. I tried to raise a formal complaint, and I got an immediate automated response that provide links to advise and their website, and told me my complaint was being closed as resolved. This company is truly dreadful. Don't be tempted by their sign up offers. Customer service is non existent. There are far better companies out there who offer a professional service and resolve issues promptly.

Depositing funds was easy but as soon as I attended a withdrawal my account was restricted. Usually this is a simple process of verification but I was asked for copies of everything under the sun and then kept receiving calls that would cut off immediately on answer. Returning the calls just left the phone ringing endlessly. I received an email stating that telephone verification was required before my account could be unlocked but clearly this is only possible if they would answer their phone lines.

Joined to open a cash ISA, submitted verification details, and was told it would take one day to verify. 4 weeks later I haven't heard a thing, and any requests to find out what is happening have been completely ignored by customer services. I have now missed the rates available at the time of application so it has been a complete waste of my time and money! Astonishingly poor. ** Updated - this review has prompted a quick response from Etoro and the issue has now been sorted, so bumped to 3 stars. Not sure why it couldn't just have been dealt with in the first place but maybe my experience is just a one off!!

I'm really enjoying using the etoro app and moved over from hargreaves and landsdown who are poor in every department . Etoro is a fantastic platform with a bigger selection of stocks and cheap to trade also . It has lots of tools for research and and investing is very easy also .

I have my regular meeting with my account manager Mr. Abdulmuti through video call to talk about my portfolio performance, benefit of my account tier for the current level and about my future plan. Mr. Abdulmuti is very informative financial man and help me a lot through my journey in investment started almost 6 years ago and it was very informative meeting with respect to macro economics and 2026 expectations as well. I have invested via Etoro for many years, best part is copy trade, now most of my fund allocation to copy trade, I no longer have to trade by myself and result is very good for long term investment.
