Have tried three times now to set my bank account details up to withdraw funds, each time they have made issues with it. Yet paying money into the account is seamless, strangely enough 🤔

I would HIGHLY advise anyone thinking of using XTB to avoid them. The trading platform is diabolically bad. The support has degraded dramatically since I opened an account 3 months ago. I have been waiting for hours in chat. Nothing. I tried their X pages - No response - I tried their Facebook pages - No response. I emailed customer support. No response. Completely Ignored. They take 30 days to even respond to a complaint. Worst trading platform I have ever used. UPDATE : I have initiated a transfer request to move my account away from XTB to another provider. I suspect they are deliberately trying to delay the process. AVOID

I had a troubling experience with XTB while trading Gold (XAU/USD). 1. Market Opening Delay: When the market opened, my platform showed a delay, preventing me from managing my position in time, resulting in losses. 2. Stop Loss Not Executed: I had a Stop Loss in place, but when the price reached the level, the order was ignored. I had to close the trade manually, which caused further loss. No respect for the user...company works against their customer, I have been with XTB for 5 years, and spitting blood consistently because of their behaviour. Today's Friday session is very important, and they have decided to make work-related modifications to the platform, which may disrupt the delicate session. Very suspicious behaviour.

I signed up with the promise of a free share but when I tried to validate my identity the app wouldn't work. I went to support who didn't know anything about the app or validation. I was given an email to send my details to and it all started to feel a bit dodgy

When you sign up it says a few share in this or that etc. What it doesn't clearly say is there is a limit of signups and so you might sign up and never receive the offer.
Customer support in the app is very poor and I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone who thinks they may end up contacting support for any reason. I tried contacting support before depositing and after depositing. The first message I sent, I wanted to clarify what documents would be needed to apply for an account. I was able to deposit right away through the app, but wanted to check if any documents from me would be needed later as most of mine are out of date. I got no reply back in the chat. A day later or two I got an email response to my query telling me where I could find the option to add documents in the app and where to link a bank account. Stupidly, I went ahead and deposited because they hadn't highlighted documents were required at that stage and nothing in the account opening process mentions it. Today, I try to withdraw some money, and the app tells me I need to upload ID documents before I can. This time I do get a response in the chat rather than ignored completely, but it's one brief clarifying question after what I say, then a template message saying they've referred me to another team I have to wait 24 hours for, probably the same one that missed the point of my question last time around. I didn't put a lot of money in, the cost of renewing passport etc is significant amount compared to the pennies I put in. Would have much preferred any mention at any point that I'd need to provide documents to take money out after I put money in. I'm obviously at some fault here not having proper documents ready and not being thorough enough before depositing, but it's almost predatory to have such poor support, and no mention of any documentation right up until the point you want to take your money out. I also want to mention that replies from support chat team in Polish are visible in screen before you enter support chat, so possibly there is some kind of MTL/AI translation issue at play here in terms of quality of response to queries which doesn't help. Still waiting for a response but very unhappy with experience and will be closing account.
Despite good interests I am disappointed by XTB First after two weeks and chasing I have just received the requests to provide bank statements My first transfer took almost a month before being interest bearing Second, very limited choices of funds or ETF Would no recommend
Don’t waste your time! Poor customer service and impossible to deal with. I signed up after seeing an advert on the tube in London. I have since provided ID documents, proof of address, marriage certificate and now they want bank statements. It’s far beyond what’s reasonable to create an account. I just want to cancel. They’re refusing to close my account and refund me. Avoid them!

Fantastic platform! It has all that I need when it comes to investing and CFD trading. Some of their spreads aren’t too bad on some markets

I had verified my account done all the processes and in the app it would show account has been verified . When I tried to open my account it would show waiting for verification I contacted them and they told me that they need some documents. I told it’s ok and waited but still no one contacted so I have to wait for 2 weeks for my account to be verified 2 weeks just for verification when already provided the address proof, residency proof , face verification and all . Other trading platforms do the verification process on 5-10 minutes so this is the customer service in 2026 you have to wait 2 weeks what a joke
They say they accept clients from Macedonia but they don't verify the address because they don't know how to read Cyrillic and then ask for invoices in English is a pity. For me XTB is a non-serious and amateur platform especially the support workers

Discrimination, retaliation, and a toxic work environment This review is based on my personal experience at XTB. During my employment, I was repeatedly subjected to discriminatory behavior and inappropriate remarks regarding my perceived sexual orientation, including suggestions like “go to the gym to fix my hormones” and similar degrading comments. These were humiliating, invasive, and unprofessional. I also faced work obstruction and unfair treatment: supervisors often ignored my questions or gave misleading information, making tasks unnecessarily difficult and creating a toxic, hostile, and psychologically unsafe environment. I submitted a formal whistleblowing report, which the Team Leader was not supposed to know about. Afterward, I was explicitly informed my contract would be renewed. However, the Team Leader tried to complicate things, suggesting unnecessary “training months” despite my high KPI performance. On my last working day, attempts to contact higher management failed (everyone was off). Eventually, the Team Leader called me to the office, made me work until the last minute, and repeatedly said we were “waiting for the legal team”—though no legal team was present. At the end, in a meeting room with only him present, he harshly informed me my contract would not be renewed because I submitted the report. My laptop was taken, and I was treated with suspicion and humiliation, including statements implying my activity would be monitored to prevent misuse. This experience was intimidating, humiliating, and unprofessional, demonstrating clear retaliation, breach of trust, and lack of whistleblower protection. It had a serious negative impact on my mental health and left me with the impression that employee dignity, inclusion, and safety are not genuinely protected. I strongly advise potential employees to carefully evaluate the company culture, management behavior, and actual effectiveness of anti-discrimination and whistleblowing policies, rather than relying solely on public statements.

Avoid like the plague. They will trade against your position. Your win is their loss. Soon as you start making profit, they will throw some hoops, block your account or kick you out. Very dishonest market makers. Avoid at all costs

Big popups while trading cover important areas. To make it even more senseless, the writing is minuscule, in white on green. I suggested going to something more useful a few years ago, but the hypocritical way of asking how to make the platform better is just political correctness. Too often, technical problems arise, and the help team inevitably ask you to clarify things they should know. Imagine in situation where promptness is crucial for protecting your funds... virtually all firms share the same lack of elementary professionalism, and improvements will come extremely slowly if at all.
