I have found IG to be very quick at answering queries both via email and phone. A professional service building customer Trust. Unlike Coinbase who take months to respond to their clients🙄

Been locked out of trading because of a stupid quiz even though I've been trading over 8 years lol. Stick your quiz & your site I'll go to a professional platform instead

I could not log into my account. When I phoned IG they were very helpful, polite, did not rushed and solved the problem while I was on the phone. FANTASTIC!!

Been with IG a month, I couldn't get my head around the massive candle spikes I saw on some of the AI stocks like Big Bear ai and Sound Hound Ai, I was utterly put off from investing. On "all sessions" stocks, I had candles that didn't show any price action whatsoever for hours at a time, the price line just invisibly moved up and down without being able to see what is happening with price action on the candles. One timeframe would show a different price from the next timeframe or show that price had gone further up or down where another timeframe showed that price never moved. Then after a while it all changesld. I constantly had to look at trading view charts which seems to show more information on the chart and even their major moving averages were in different stages compared with IG charts. E.g Tradingview price was bouncing off a rising 20period MA but IG was breaking down through a rounding 20 period MA. I honestly have been totally hindered from making accurate trading decisions by some of these gammy charts. Also when trying to resolve these issues all you get is the AI powered jargon on what's app.

It disappears right in the middle of the trading chart for a few minutes, I got stopped out twice because of this. You don't even know how to properly provide the system to the customer.

Misleading order types that caused a trade to be missed. The customer support page on the app doesn’t work either. Very low fees so the experience is mixed.

I opened an account with IG Brokers and experienced exceptionally poor customer service and an opaque, predatory fee structure. Withdrawals were blocked for days with no clear reason, policy citation, or meaningful escalation. The platform advertises “0% commission” while adding hidden foreign‑currency conversion charges and per‑transaction fees that do not appear during the trade and are simply tacked on to the final bill. Customer communications were evasive, slow, and unhelpful. These practices are misleading, lack transparency, and harm ordinary customers. I have submitted a formal complaint and will escalate to the Financial Ombudsman Service and the FCA if this is not resolved immediately.
