Dukascopy is more than just a Trading and Charting platforms , dukascopy is a compass for those who seek the truth behind it all , its for those who seek actuality ( full - stop . )
I have been a Dukascopy customer for over four years, and my experience with this bank has been nothing short of stressful and disappointing. Two years ago, I even contacted them to confirm whether my P2P crypto trading activity was acceptable, and they reassured me that it was fine. I trusted them. Since then, I built a legitimate trading business and processed over €1,000,000 in fully traceable transactions through my p2p trading account. Every single time they asked for documents, I provided them immediately sometimes even more than they requested because I had nothing to hide. Despite doing everything right, Dukascopy constantly froze my funds, delayed my business, and repeatedly questioned my activity. And after years of cooperation, they suddenly closed my account — without giving me any reason at all and told me I am permanently banned from opening another one. This bank has caused me unnecessary stress, delays, and humiliation even though I was fully transparent from day one. A serious financial institution should value transparency and fairness, not punish compliant customers and then refuse to explain why. My experience with Dukascopy has been extremely negative, and I would not recommend them to anyone who wants stability, respect, or clear communication from their bank.
I am writing this review to express my extreme disappointment with the verification process at Dukascopy Bank. My account application was unfairly rejected (Failed) not because of any document defect, but due to a clear misunderstanding and lack of patience from the Compliance Agent during the video call. The Incident: During my video identification, the agent asked for my Date of Birth (10 Feb 2001). As English is not my first language, I felt nervous and struggled to pronounce it fluently. To cooperate, I immediately tried to show my physical Bangladeshi Smart NID (which contains a chip and hologram) to the camera so the agent could verify the date himself. Instead of showing professionalism or giving me a few seconds to compose myself, the agent became visibly frustrated and abruptly terminated the call. Moments later, my status was marked as "Failed." The Contradiction: Support later claimed that NID cards are not allowed for video verification. This is a huge hypocrisy: If my NID was invalid, why did the Compliance Agent initiate the video interview after inspecting the card on camera? Starting the interview proves the document was initially accepted. Penalizing a genuine client for a momentary language barrier or poor internet resolution is discriminatory and unprofessional. Before I proceed with any expensive/complex step, I demand a logical explanation regarding the huge contradiction in your support process. 1. The "Hypocrisy" of the Situation: You stated in the chat that "It is not allowed to use the ID for video verification". MY LOGICAL QUESTION: If Bangladeshi NID cards are strictly prohibited for video calls, why did your Compliance Agent initiate the video interview with me after inspecting my NID on camera? Logic: If the document was invalid, the call should have been rejected instantly. The fact that the interview started proves that NID IS ACCEPTABLE for video verification. The Real Reason for Failure: The verification failed only because of my poor internet connection and my nervousness while speaking English (I struggled to pronounce my Date of Birth). It was a behavioral failure, NOT a document validity issue. 2. Why am I being treated differently? Does Dukascopy successfully verify other Bangladeshi clients using NID via video call? If YES: Why is my specific case being forced to postal mail when my NID is valid and smart-chipped? If NO: Why did you waste my time starting a video call in the first place? 3. Clarification on Passport Option: You mentioned waiting for a passport. If I obtain a Passport: Do you GUARANTEE that my account will be opened 100% via online Video Verification? Or will you again make excuses and ask for postal mail? I need a written commitment before I invest time in this. MY FINAL DEMAND: Since you accept NID via Post, it means the document itself is valid. The only issue was the video interview quality. I challenge you to give me ONE FINAL video call opportunity. I will ensure a high-speed connection and a translator if needed. Do not force me to use the postal method for a simple misunderstanding. The Barrier to Entry: Now, I am being forced to send notarized documents via international post. In Bangladesh, obtaining a passport takes 6–8 months due to government backlogs, and international postal services from remote areas are unreliable and risky for sensitive data. My Final Demand: My document is a legitimate, government-issued biometric Smart Card. I challenge Dukascopy to provide one final video call opportunity. I am ready with high-definition lighting, a stable connection, and a translator if necessary. Do not hide behind "postal requirements" for a mistake made by your own agent. Escalation Warning: Please be advised that if this issue is not resolved fairly and my last request for a final video call is denied, I will be to escalate this matter and file a formal complaint with the Swiss Banking Ombudsman and FINMA. I will report these procedural inconsistencies got ready almost all documentation with inconsistencies. Application Details for Support: Phone Number: +8801732160903 ID Document: Government Issued National ID (Bangladesh) Issue: Premature termination of video call / Language discrimination. I sincerely hope a senior officer reviews this case fairly. I am a genuine applicant with real documents, just seeking a fair chance to open an account.

In my review and findings Here are the inefficient parts of the Dukascopy Binary platform : 1) The platform takes a long time to open if your mobile suddenly runs out of charge. Not as active and quick as other brokers. It should have opened the app within seconds. 2nd) Timing: confusing trading duration/expiry time compared to other brokers. Example: If I want to trade for 2 hours, a trade starting from 5:50, I have to scroll up and down to calculate and see that it's 120 minutes. It would be easier if it were like UTC+1, 7:50, just set the time like this. 3rd) add trading tools; there are no technical tools in Dukacopy. You mentioned that a new binary options trading app is coming. I can't wait to see the newly developing Platform. Best of luck with that 🍀👏

Their Crypto Loan is a lie! I took it 3 business days ago, I have transfered fee to them before. almost 4 days passed and money is still not received on my crypto wallet. they are lying and I even lost my money as a "fee"

I worked with this Bank for 5 years. Now They started applying my transfers 0,5 fee for “quick turn around time”. This is my last month using this Bank. Their answer was that I needed to invest on the Bank or maintain my money there to dont have that fee….
Their customer support doesn not exist at all. Awful. The score of 3.1 is not true. They have below 2.0 for sure.
I am a verified client and had a SEPA transfer to my Dukascopy account returned with an internal policy code. Despite contacting support on November 5, 7, and 10, I have received no meaningful response whatsoever. Two weeks of silence from a regulated bank holding client funds is shocking and unacceptable. I provided full documentation, asked clear questions, and followed up multiple times. The fact that Dukascopy cannot explain why a standard SEPA transfer was rejected and then ignores the client shows a serious lack of professionalism, accountability, and basic operational reliability. I am a client of several financial institutions, and this level of neglect is far below industry standards. Dukascopy urgently needs to improve its support and transparency, because at this point it is impossible to trust them with even simple transactions. UPDATE (November 25): After Dukascopy requested my details through Trustpilot, I received another generic and unhelpful response from their support team that fails to address the documented facts. They stated they "cannot track a transfer that has not been initiated at our bank" - however, the MS01 return code indicates the transfer was received and rejected by their bank on November 5. After three weeks and multiple follow-ups, Dukascopy still has not provided a meaningful explanation for the returned SEPA transfer (MS01 / "PER INTERNAL POLICY").

Good bank with great services except for the little bit high fees on card maintenence and card payments and western union fees.
stay away of this platform, very old systems, horrible support, after trying to experiment with their account I saw that its not for me, wanted to take the money out of the account but there's no self service to do so, chasing them time after time in the call center end up exactly the same where they tells you we moving you to the responsible party which is the only one which can help with that and then the call just shut down.
[UPDATED]: As for any service I review on Trustpilot, I must always come back in case of any new changes, so here am I: I’ll admit, at first I was frustrated because the verification process alongside limit increases took around ~10-14 days and the documentation requirements felt heavy. Having worked in AML and KYC myself, I fully understand the level of due diligence required, so I get where Dukascopy is coming from. And honestly, once everything was approved, Dukascopy has been nothing short of outstanding. Everything runs smoothly now, transactions, communication, support, all top-notch. After seeing so many negative reviews online, I think a lot of people overlook how much work goes into maintaining a fully regulated bank with limited staff. Based on their staff size and compliance standards, what they deliver is actually impressive. They’ve more than earned my respect. Frankly, after using the usual so called “fully regulated fintechs” (Payoneer, Bankera, etc.), the difference is obvious. If you’re still with them, ask yourself why… Because the better move is Dukascopy. They run a tight, compliant operation and deliver solid service day to day. And most importantly, they’re an ACTUAL legitimate bank, no “fintech” nonsense. I’m glad I made the switch and I recommend others do the same. I’ll be leaving more reviews based on actual truthful experiences with them along my new journey with them, stay tuned :)
The significant downside of Dukascopy Binary Trading is its manipulation of the spot opening reading, which is consistently off by -0.5 pips compared to the chart graph reading. For instance, if your strike point is 1.16345, you’ll notice that moments later the opening spot shifts to 1.16350, while the chart continues to hover around 1.16345. This discrepancy can have a profound impact on short-term trades, often turning what should be a winning outcome into a losing one at the last second. BE CAREFUL!!
I don't like the monthly and annual fees of the cards . We want a card with fees and costs based on transactions on the card and not monthly fees. Thank you

They have become very fast in transferring; the funds reach my local account on the same day.

I opened an account with Dukascopy Bank and so far my experience has been very good. The mobile app is simple to use, transfers work smoothly, and I like that I can hold money in different currencies. Customer service answered my questions quickly and in a professional way. Overall, it feels like a solid and reliable bank.

I have been trying for a couple of months to obtain a payment card. Whoever is providing the advice in the background do not look at my issues and ask basic questions but when you tell them it's not working, they go underground and some other random person asks the same question. It's truly obvious that they don't care but if I had millions in the account they would bend over backwards to assist. The support is inconsistent and my comments are largely ignored. They offer advice incompatible to the issue. All I want is a payment card so I can facilitate funds into the account.

In my experience, Dukascopy operates in a way that can work against the trader’s best interests. When trades become profitable, unexpected platform or account issues may arise, execution can be questionable, and withdrawals may be delayed or obstructed. As a counterparty broker, your losses directly benefit them — creating an inherent conflict of interest. Based on my personal experience, I would strongly advise against trusting Dukascopy with your trading capital, your financial details, or your personal details.

After weeks of trying to clarify a transaction, I am extremely disappointed by how Dukascopy treated me as a client. My account was blocked over a €200 payment received on June 9, 2025, related to my Binance P2P trading activity. The buyer who sent the funds was a verified Binance user, and I had multiple transactions that day. To ensure fast service, I released the crypto after receiving a Swiss bank confirmation message — a method commonly used by many traders when dealing with verified users. Despite this, Dukascopy froze my account and ignored the full, transparent explanation I provided, which included: All related trade details and transaction IDs Full name and phone number of the sender Binance chat screenshots and payment confirmation Proof that this is standard P2P procedure Instead of communicating or asking for further clarification, they simply closed my account and kept my balance — with no proper response or explanation. Their compliance process is unclear, and I was treated unfairly despite being fully cooperative. I had trusted Dukascopy and even left positive feedback earlier. But this experience has been unacceptable and damaging to my business. ⚠️ If you are a crypto trader or P2P user — be very cautious. Their reaction shows no understanding of how modern financial platforms work, and no support for legitimate users.

Hello, It is really bad that customers of Dukascopy bank can not withdraw the money by virtual cards on ATMs unlike with Revolut and Wise customers can withdraw the money from ATMs with virtual card. It would be nice if you can make it happen for your customers. The customer support really sucks.
