Summary
Reviews of the broker show a stark contrast between positive and negative experiences. Some users praise the platform for its intuitive and user-friendly interface, low trading fees, and helpful support team, mentioning that it's easy to trade, build bots, and navigate the system. However, many others report serious issues related to security, customer service, and fund withdrawals. Several users claim to have lost significant sums due to system lags, P2P scams, or unauthorized transactions, often accusing the company of negligence and failure to follow its own dispute resolution procedures. Common complaints include long delays in withdrawals or refund processing, unresponsive or ineffective support, and manipulative liquidity or high fees. Some users describe being misled into investing larger sums and later being unable to recover their money. Overall, while the platform’s design and user experience receive praise, numerous users express deep distrust and dissatisfaction with its security, compliance, and customer service.

This cannot be a real financial institution. Withdrawing my money or getting any support has been a total nighymare with these guys. Practically a scam.

Case number: #21651246 On the 25th September my Bybit account was completely wiped out by a wallet that seems to be stealing peoples crypto everyday on Bybit. I went through the email process with Bybit. I'm going to hold my full review and give Bybit a chance to refund the crypto and funds stolen. I will keep this review updated as to the final outcome of Bybit reviewing the stolen crypto fully and returning my assets. I' am now offering Bybit a chance to fix my problem publicly. I will be fully transparent with the outcome of this case and change my review as and when an outcome has been reached.

My wife’s money was stolen from Bybit. Her account was completely wiped of money and crypto. It was an inside job I’m 90% sure. They just send out an AI generated message saying contact law enforcement. I provided them with the wallets that stole the funds and upon further research I found that those same wallets were stealing from hundreds of people a day. There’s just no way Bybit does not know about this. It’s the same wallets every day over and over again. Its just beyond belief that in today’s society there are companies that are able to steal funds from customers without any responsibility. You would think a company as big as Bybit registered in the Seychelles is protecting customers personal money. The greed has gone to far now and legal proceedings are a must for companies that are stealing from customers and not taking it seriously. I will do my upmost to contact the right legal avenues to obtain my wife’s funds back. I do hope Bybit starts to take things a little more seriously with peoples funds. Response to Bybit: This is completely fabricated lies. Your company did not look into the wallets that stole the crypto and funds. Even me as a non crypto trader was able to track the wallets that are stealing hundreds of thousands per day from your platform. It’s been going on for months with the same accounts. They continuously steal peoples crypto and move it between 3 or more different wallets. These wallets hold millions of dollars of stolen crypto and funds. Please do not try to pretend as a company that has security to protect themselves does not know about this. I think it’s time to pay back the stolen funds before serious legal action takes place.

[Original Review Context:] My previous review detailed an unfortunate incident where an attempt to buy crypto via bank card led to an automatic P2P order, a "cancel" message from the seller, and subsequent permanent account blockage, all without clear explanation. My support ticket #22385217 initially received a delayed and unhelpful response. [Update:] I am now actively communicating with the support team regarding this matter. We are collaboratively working to resolve the account blockage and clarify the initial issues. This positive engagement has significantly changed my perspective. Consequently, I am upgrading my rating from 1 star to 4 stars.

I’m a Level 4 VIP trader (UID: 8898056) who has been trading on Bybit for years with significant monthly volume. On October 10–11, 2025, during an abnormal, coordinated price manipulation across exchanges involving COAI/USDT, my position was liquidated, resulting in a loss of approximately $1.45 million USD. I immediately contacted Bybit VIP support (Can) and maintained professional communication for over 10 days. Despite acknowledging the case and confirming internal review, Bybit refused any ex-gratia (goodwill) compensation, even partial — while other exchanges like Binance compensated affected traders on the same day. What’s worse, the Bybit representative mocked the situation by offering a 1,000 USDT trading bonus, which is insulting considering the scale of loss. The order book was clearly manipulated — inflated bids and spoof orders triggered liquidation cascades. It’s hard to believe this happened without internal awareness. If Bybit’s liquidity is connected with the same market makers that pumped this coin, then it’s market misconduct under most jurisdictions. I have full documentation of trade IDs, liquidation history, screenshots, and correspondence, which I already provided to FBI IC3 for official investigation. As a loyal user, I didn’t ask for full reimbursement — I only requested 10–20 % goodwill compensation under Bybit’s own “User Protection” principles. Instead, I was treated disrespectfully and ignored for days. I am now warning other high-net-worth traders and VIP users to think twice before trusting Bybit with large positions. Transparency and accountability seem to vanish when real losses occur. Bybit still has the chance to make this right — I hope management reconsiders before this situation escalates further publicly.

I have been a loyal Bybit user and opted to use the Bybit Card to maximize cashback and reward points for all my daily and travel expenses, including holidays and essential purchases for my family. After months of regular, legitimate use (bookings, medicines, gifts, travel payments), Bybit suddenly blocked all my points, claiming my account violated campaign rules. I never manipulated orders, nor used multiple accounts, nor engaged in abusive behavior. Each transaction was genuine, tied to personal or family needs, and often could have earned me cashback with other cards. Yet, Bybit ignored my requests for clarification and refused to specify what exactly was "irregular" about my payments. Their support only replied with generic messages, insisting the decision is permanent, refusing any appeal or even clarification. I feel cheated, as the points I accumulated are now worthless and Bybit offers no transparency or logic behind this ban. If you are relying on Bybit for card rewards or cashback, beware: they may block your points without warning and without proof. I am extremely disappointed and strongly advise caution to anyone considering Bybit Card for purchases.

Severe System Delay and Unfair Compensation Process. Avoid using BYBIT!! I just want to share my recent experience with Bybit — I honestly cannot believe this is considered one of the top crypto trading platforms. My Take-Profit order on COAIUSDT (Order ID: c29d340) was triggered at 21:05:00 UTC but executed at 21:05:39 UTC, resulting in a 39-second delay and an execution price of 8.8882 USDT instead of 13.0 USDT. This is an abnormal 31 % deviation that cannot be explained by “market volatility” or “liquidity issues,” especially when the 1-minute candle at 21:05 UTC shows a high of 13.5 USDT with 4.5 M USDT trading volume. Additionally, my position size was small around 0.03% of the total volume “4.5 M USDT”, so shortage of liquidity doesn’t make any sense. Also, Bybit already checked that it wasn’t the network latency issue of the user since the order has been successfully recorded within the system. I should have earned +468 usdt if the system engine triggered the price at 13.00 which I placed tp beforehand. Even if the execution at 8.8882 USDT were somehow correct, the resulting loss still makes no sense. Using Bybit’s own calculator multiple times, my expected loss was around –132 USDT, yet the actual realized loss was –448 USDT — more than three times larger, which is mathematically impossible based on my position size and leverage. Despite submitting full technical evidence (trigger logs, TP/SL setup screenshots, realized-loss data, and market references), Bybit’s investigation was inconsistent and logically contradictory. They acknowledged the 39-second delay yet still categorized it as “normal,” which directly contradicts both market data and their own execution records. I understand that Bybit’s Terms of Service limit legal responsibility, but this is not about volatility — it’s a system desynchronization between the trigger engine and the matching engine, a clear technical malfunction, not user error. While the customer service team has been polite, the resolution process has been slow, opaque, and lacking accountability. The timeline keeps extending without updates, and I only receive any information when I personally contact a live agent — who always says, “please wait, we need more time to investigate.” How can Bybit call itself one of the top crypto trading platforms if it refuses to compensate innocent users when the evidence clearly shows it was the system’s fault? My Case ID is #22107239

Update November 7th 2025: Still no support received whatsoever. It’s been a month since I had access to my funds. They don’t provide any reason or details on why I don’t have access anymore, Filed complaint with authorities. Unfortunately it seems more and more like I got scammed by this company. Don’t use Bybit!!! This is a company that offer a platform without customer service. I have had no access to my funds since the beginning of October and still no support from them. Every few days I have asked them for an update, because they won’t update me. They say, just be patient your case ( 21884225 ) is in progress. I wouldn’t advise anyone to use them unless you don’t mind having NO access to your funds for at least a month without any explanation of what’s happening and what they are doing to fix it

I tried to become a P2P trader in every way possible, when it asks me to make the deposit and then freeze the deposit, it tells me that my account violates the terms and conditions of P2P trading and in no way they allow me to appeal, I only get the message "You are permanently blocked from posting ads"

I'm having a terrible experience with a recent USDT purchase. The deposit was cancelled after I sent the payment to the seller's account, and despite sharing my bank transfer receipt, the seller hasn't responded or refunded my money. I've also reached out to Bybit's support for help in tracking the seller and retrieving my funds, but so far, no response.

I have a very bad experience today I ordered for USDT and the deposit was cancelled and my money was already sent to the seller and I which I contacted the seller to refund my money to me he didn't reply and I showed him my bank transfer receipt that I transfer the money to his account he didn't reply and I messaged Bybit to help me track him down to refund my money for me no reply from Bybit

Where is my refund? 2 MONTHS of silence on Case #22232686 I am incredibly frustrated with @Bybit_Official. An unauthorized transaction occurred on my account, and my case (#22232686) has been open for TWO MONTHS with zero resolution. I've sent multiple inquiries and have received NO updates and NO follow-ups, even though your support team promised to contact me. This is not just poor customer service; it's a complete failure of accountability. I demand a response, a resolution, and my refund immediately. How long does a customer have to wait?

In P2P trades they confirmed the reversal from the buyer but still didn’t compensate me they just let the scammer post ads again without even freezing his account. Trash support they didn’t help even if they have verified the reversal they delayed the appeal by and flagged it under investigation for 10 days then nothing happens they let the scammer to go away with the money. I hated the process of withdrawal as a South African. It is costly and a very long process than depositing.

I only began working with Bybit just a couple of weeks ago. I quickly got prepayment jobs. The first were low amounts and was encouraged to invest higher amounts. Because I had €1000 to spare I invested it. My bank tried to warn me but because I had gotten paid before I just continued to earn money for a loan I had taken out. When it came to payment time, they put me in a group project to pay larger amounts I didn't have. When the people in the group complained that I was wasting their time, I asked to leave the group. I asked to be paid my money but was told I still needed to be pay €2200. I didn't really have it but after much denial I used my remaining loan which I told my receptionist it was a loan for my daughter's rent in college. She assured me that I would be paid back. I painfully paid it and asked for my withdrawal code. The receptionist said congratulations I needed to put in a third amount to get my payment. Even the lowest amount of €1800 is impossible for me to get. I'm really stuck and just want my invested €3200 loan money back before I fall into a depression and my daughter's rent is almost due. I'm not sure of my case number but I was given this code at the start JH6805

I lost 2,500 EUR (≈ 2,691 USDT) because Bybit’s own employee or system released my crypto to a scammer without my confirmation — a direct violation of their own P2P trading rules. Bybit’s official policy clearly states that “the seller shall take full responsibility for releasing the crypto without confirming payment” and that their P2P Appeal Team must “freeze the fraudulent party’s assets and assist with fund recovery.” Neither of these rules were followed. I reported the issue immediately, but Bybit support replied that “the counterparty had already withdrawn all assets by the time we received your inquiry.” That means they failed to freeze the scammer’s account in time, even though their own rules allow them to do so under the Fast-Track dispute process. In other words, Bybit’s negligence directly enabled the fraudster to steal my funds — and instead of refunding me, they just sent copy-paste apologies and now have the audacity to ask me to “leave a review.” This was not a user mistake — this was a clear security and compliance failure on Bybit’s side. I have filed a formal complaint with financial regulators and will continue to raise awareness so others don’t lose their money the same way. Be very careful using Bybit P2P — their “safety guarantees” mean nothing when it actually matters. UPDATE: Order ID: 1932220297771089920 UID: 127592979
