About Toptrade
Toptrade Group (also linked with Widdershins Group Ltd, reportedly based in the Commonwealth of Dominica) is not regulated by any top-tier financial authority. The UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) listed it as an unauthorised firm, warning that it may be providing financial services in the UK without permission and that clients are not protected by the Financial Ombudsman Service or the FSCS. The notice covers domains such as toptrade.cc, www.toptradegroup.com, and toptrade.group.
The Spanish regulator CNMV issued a formal warning indicating that Widdershins Group LTD (linked to toptrade.group/es/) is not authorised to provide investment services such as investment advice or auxiliary services under Spanish law.
The Financial Market Commission of Chile (CMF) also listed Top Trade Group among platforms that are unauthorised to offer services in Chile, alongside other entities.
Austrian regulator FMA published an investor warning on March 10, 2022, stating that TopTrade Group or Widdershins Group Ltd is not permitted to carry out banking or trading activities in Austria as per the Banking Act (BWG). This warning was also published in the official gazette.
