Axi Launches Institutional Liquidity Platform AxiPrime

On 9 July 2025, online broker Axi unveiled AxiPrime, a new liquidity service designed for professional trading firms. The solution targets banks, prop-trading houses, and HFT desks that require direct access to multiple asset classes through a unified technology stack.

The platform brings together trading in FX, precious metals, equities, cryptocurrencies, and commodities, offering consolidated price feeds and a single API interface (FIX or REST) for connectivity. This is expected to simplify client infrastructure and reduce operating costs.

Axi’s Chief Commercial Officer Louis Cooper emphasizes that the service is “built for institutional-scale operations.” AxiPrime’s architecture can process up to 500,000 order events per second on a single CPU, delivering execution in two microseconds—critical performance for high-frequency strategies.

At the same time, the company announced a partnership with technology provider Your Bourse, aimed at expanding points of presence and further lowering latency. Your Bourse supplies low-latency channels, unified price streams, and performance monitoring, which Cooper says “will enhance our clients’ competitive edge.”

Notably, the AxiPrime brand was previously used for Axi’s prime-brokerage division, which closed several years ago; the name has now been revived as a liquidity provider.

The company highlights transparent pricing, 24/5 technical support, and “more innovations” in upcoming releases. The launch of AxiPrime underscores rising institutional demand for multi-asset access with microsecond execution speeds.
