A sell is considered under the opposite conditions:

  • the lines cross downward;

  • the color becomes yellow and red;

  • a bearish candlestick pattern appears.

This indicates a possible start of a downward move.

Where to place Take Profit and Stop Loss

The indicator does not have strict risk management rules — the decision remains with the trader.

Most often, traders use simple logic:

  • Take Profit — when the lines cross again and change color in the opposite direction;

  • Stop Loss — beyond the nearest swing point, or according to your trading system rules.

Which timeframes work best

Trigger Lines can be applied on almost any timeframe:

  • H1–D1 — more stable signals, less market noise;

  • M5–M15 — suitable for scalping, but requires additional filtering.

It’s important to understand: the indicator shows the best results in a trending market.

Why you shouldn’t use it alone

Like any technical tool, Trigger Lines is not 100% accurate. Sometimes crossovers occur in a range and produce false signals.

Therefore, it is recommended to use it together with:

  • price action,

  • support and resistance levels,

  • additional trend filters.
