Twelve Whales LLC is not authorised to provide financial or investment services in the United Kingdom. The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) explicitly lists Twelve Whales LLC (operating through twelvewhales.com and twelvewhales.net) as an unauthorised firm. A warning notice was first published on 15 August 2024 and last updated on 2 April 2025, stating that the firm may be offering financial services without FCA permission. Consumers dealing with this firm would not benefit from the Financial Ombudsman Service or the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS).

The Central Bank of Ireland has issued a warning designating Twelve Whales LLC as an unauthorised investment firm in Ireland. The notice covers both twelvewhales.com and twelvewhales.net. The firm is not authorised to provide investment services in Ireland, and the warning is published under section 53 of the Central Bank (Supervision and Enforcement) Act 2013.

The Austrian Financial Market Authority (FMA) has warned that Twelve Whales LLC is not authorised to conduct securities-related services in Austria. The firm’s use of domains www.twelvewhales.com and www.twelvewhales.net is noted in the warning, and it is stated that they are not permitted to execute client orders under Austria’s Securities Supervision Act (WAG 2018) § 3 Abs 2 Z 6.

The Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) of Québec (Canada) also issued an advisory warning investors that Twelve Whales LLC is not registered with the AMF and is not authorized to solicit investors in Québec.
