Square FX (operating via squarefx.uk) is not authorised by the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) to provide financial services or products in the United Kingdom. The FCA issued a warning on 22 December 2022, stating that Square FX may be targeting UK consumers and that clients would not have access to the Financial Ombudsman Service or the Financial Services Compensation Scheme .
The Financial Commission also added Square FX (Square Fx LTD) to its warning list on 22 December 2022, indicating that the entity and its associated website may be used to scam and defraud traders and investors .
Claims by Square FX to be registered in the UK under company number 13984949 do not equate to FCA authorisation. Company registration with Companies House does not permit the provision of regulated financial services .
