Spotinvest provides online trading services under the name Spotinvest Inc., reportedly registered in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines with company number 1860 LLC 2022, and operating from an address in Kingstown, St. Vincent and the Grenadines. SVG FSA registration is noted, but the SVG FSA does not regulate forex brokers nor issue licenses for financial services, so this does not constitute authorization to operate as a broker.

Neither the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in the UK, the Comisión Nacional del Mercado de Valores (CNMV) in Spain, ASIC, CySEC, SEC/CFTC, BaFin, nor any other major financial regulator has authorized Spotinvest to provide investment services. The FCA issued a warning listing Spotinvest as a clone firm impersonating an FCA-authorised entity (warning first published 23 November 2022, last updated 9 February 2023). The CNMV issued a warning that Spotinvest is not authorized to provide investment or ancillary services. The Belgian FSMA added Spotinvest to its warning list of fraudulent trading platforms on 5 June 2023.
