The broker known as SkyFX (operated by Trademarker Ltd.) had its Cyprus Investment Firm (CIF) license suspended by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) on 15 February 2016 for violations under sections 12 and 13, and for regulatory shortcomings including improper handling of client interests. CySEC instructed the firm to cease all investment services and return client funds within the stipulated 15‑day period.

Earlier, on 20 May 2015, CySEC issued a fine of €20 000 to Trademarker Ltd. for suitability breaches and outsourcing activities to unauthorized third parties in Israel. This consisted of €10 000 for unauthorized shareholders and €10 000 for outsourcing marketing or investment services to non‑licensed individuals.
