About SafeCaps

SafeCaps (using domains safecaps.io and safecap.io) is not regulated by any recognized financial authority. It claims to be operated by AEGION GROUP LTD with purported registration number 25682 BC 2019 in St Vincent & the Grenadines; however, no corresponding record exists in the SVG FSA database and SVG FSA does not authorize forex services. The United Kingdom’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) issued a clone-firm warning on 5 October 2022, noting that SafeCaps falsely used details from an FCA-authorised firm to mislead customers, and updated that warning on 21 August 2023 to include the domain safecap.io. ()

Additional regulatory alerts have been issued by multiple EU authorities: the Spanish CNMV on 22 January 2024 warned that SafeCaps (AEGION GROUP LTD via safecap.io and safecaps.io) is not authorised to offer investment services; the Italian CONSOB ordered the SafeCaps website to be blocked on 1 March 2024; the German BaFin issued a warning on 8 March 2024 that the site safecap.io operates without required authorization; and the Cyprus CySEC issued a warning on 19 March 2024 regarding unlicensed provision of services. Who it’s for

  • There are no indications of a legitimate target audience; SafeCaps’ absence of regulation and multiple regulatory warnings strongly indicate it is not suitable for any responsible investor.
