About Regenesis Markets
Regenesis Markets (Pty) Ltd held FSP number 49977 and was regulated by South Africa’s Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) as an authorised financial services provider (). Following client complaints regarding withdrawal issues, the FSCA issued a directive requiring the firm to cease accepting new clients, suspend new transactions, reconcile client funds, and notify existing clients of its financial status (). The regulator provisionally withdrew the firm's licence (now operating as Lehumo Securities (Pty) Ltd) on 2 June 2022 under grounds that continuing authorisation could prejudice clients or the public ().
Regenesis Markets offered trading via the MetaTrader 4 platform across account types—MAM Account, International CFDs Account, and JSE Equities CFDs Account. Each required a minimum deposit of USD 50, offered up to 1:500 leverage (1:10 for JSE Equities), zero commission, instruments including cryptocurrencies, futures, CFDs, indices, energies, precious metals, and Forex/currencies; accounts were USD‑denominated, non‑Islamic (not swap‑free), no hedging, no scalping, no expert advisor support, no negative‑balance protection (NBP) ().
