Petronagroup customer reviews

Summary
Multiple reviewers describe the broker as a scam: aggressive marketing (including alleged celebrity endorsements), persistent phone and WhatsApp pressure to invest more money, and sales staff (named Fabio, Martin, Mike) urging larger deposits. Several users paid small initial amounts (commonly £250) and were then pressured to add thousands; some saw small, slow profits on trades that later disappeared or were inaccessible when they tried to withdraw. When withdrawal was requested, the company either demanded additional fees or further deposits (examples cited: a 7% or proposed 10% charge), offered refunds only in Bitcoin while refusing original payment methods, or stopped responding and blocked account access. Victims report unreturned messages, broken promises (e.g., staff suddenly “sick with COVID”), suspicious follow-up calls claiming refunds and asking to set up crypto wallets, and possible sharing of customer data. A few isolated comments praise quick buy/sell and customer service, but the overwhelming consensus warns to avoid the platform, seek chargebacks, and report the fraud to authorities (Action Fraud, FCA, FTC and others).

This is a scam - you will be encouraged to put your money into this platform, all very convincing but when its time to withdraw it they will make an excuse that to take the money out you will need to deposit more money into the account

Very briefly l saw online marketing that showed a well known person investing in this company. The marketing made out that it was possible to invest and very rarely lose! The guy involved said he would try it and also said it allowed him to withdraw funds after 7 days taking profit. I invested £250 and the first 17 out of 21 trades made a small profit, but it wasn't quick enough for me, a few dollars every two or three days, it wasn't worth it. I might add l was pestered every two days by employee Fabio asking for more money. He claimed his average client paid in £2500 and l would make more money, but as l said to him many times it was relative be it £100, £1000 or £100000. I decided to close the account and guess what, the small profit they had made disappeared leaving £15 in the kitty. I asked what happened, got no answer from Fabio and no more contact was made by him. Somebody called Martin T mailed me and said Fabio has got COVID and he was taking over the account. He accused me of trying to blackmail him when l said refund my money or l paste a review on TrustPilot so that people know what they get. A couple days went by and l tried to log in again, but my access has been blocked. So, they had my money, lost most of it and then refused to talk to me about a refund, so here you have an example of what they're like. I say don't trust them, don't fall for their slick marketing campaign that may well have been organised by third party. I lost £250 but that won't break me. I hope that this review is the start of a hit that sinks them, because l believe they are crooks based on my own experience. The date of my experience is not correct because l can't remember the exact day l joined them, but it was about November 2022 so a guess at the actual date. Today 07/02/2023 I had a call from 02080973588 a London number and 'Mike' who said he was from Petronagroup and wanted to give me a refund (how did he know what I was asking for). I believe it was the same person who called last week from the same number offering the refund, but he would pay direct to my Bitcoin wallet. I told him I don't want Bitcoin and I don't have a wallet. I asked for the refund to be paid to my credit card, the original payment method. He said I can't do that. I asked why and the phone went dead, again! So my belief is that a scammer has got hold of information from Petronagroup, but how? All in all this merely adds to my comment herein that this company needs investigating and you would be wise to steer clear of them. If I could have put a minus rating for them I would have done so. I will keep this post updated as the 'scam' continues. Another telephone call from 'Mike Stone' claiming to be from Petronagroup and telling me the company was going to close my account and wanted to refund me in Bitcoin. He offered to help me set up a Bitcoin wallet to withdraw the profit. I asked how much profit was due and he replied $1500. I knew immediately that this was a scam because my account had less than £20 in it when Petronagroup stopped me from logging in to even reclaim that amount. The point is how does 'Mike Stone' know that I had an account with Petronagroup? Maybe Petronagroup are passing information to others? I don't know what to think anymore, except that dealing with Petronagroup left me short of £250 and they shut down my login access to their site so I reiterate my warning above DON'T TRUST THEM! Needless to say I won't be setting up any Bitcoin wallet for some scumbag to empty my bank account. So 'Mike Stone' or whoever you are, why not come here and tell the world what you're really trying to do? I seem to remember my last comment to you was something like 'go forth and multipy, and by the way get the local vicar to marry your parents'.

Fallow up on Petronagroup , I made the complaint to Action Fraud, FCA, Canada and Usa Authorities, google ad, Report fraud FTC, and some other financial firms. After the complaint they phoned that Fabia is sick with covid for last 3 wks and will stay sick, Its a complete scam company will take your funds and runaway, They said my account balance is 36k USD AND I HAVE TO PAY 7% to withdraw so trying to scam and take more funds from me. Why not take 10% from the balance! And reply he gave me I will tell financial team that you would like to liquidate the account NO I am a victim of scam!! Dont fell for it you will loose more money. Report them these guys are sitting in USA and Germany doing all the scam. Report them dont wait and open charge back from bank even if its for 250£. Open chargeback.

I thought this sounded a bit too good to be true but went with the initial £250 payment. Was then pressured by the supposedly “wonderful” Fabio to put another £5000 investment. I decided not to proceed and asked for my original £250 to be refunded. Unsurprisingly, after numerous WhatsApp messages and emails some 3 weeks later I have not had a reply or refund. Wouldn’t go near this company with a barge pole if i were you.
