Summary
Reviews are mixed but overwhelmingly warn that Lyrateen (appearing under similar names) is likely a scam. A few users praise the platform’s interface, ease of use and asset selection, but the majority report serious issues: no proper legal registration or regulation, and even a Financial Conduct Authority warning or blacklist. Common complaints include aggressive sales pressure from VOIP numbers and fake account managers, claims of AI trading that were actually manual trades, fabricated profits used to coax larger deposits, and a policy or practice of refunding only the original deposit while withholding reported gains. Multiple reviewers describe being unable to withdraw profits, being forced into convoluted cryptocurrency refund procedures (Coinbase, Coinjar, Crypto.com, Kraken) that caused delays, technical problems and value loss, or having funds disappear due to fees or blocked accounts. Several people report losing thousands (examples cited $3,300–$40,000 and £5,000), spam calls after signup, website errors (403 Forbidden), unresponsive or scripted support, and cloned ads/testimonials. A small number eventually recovered money after lengthy, stressful efforts, but most advise avoiding the company and reporting it to authorities.

This company reached out to me and after investing thousands with them I was blocked and lost all communication with them so I forwarded a request to my DP as they handle issues like this a lot and helped me regain access to my money.

Never Invest your valuable money They are not deserve to get a rating... This ppl will loot your money in all means by convincing you to invest more on trades...Along loosing money we get health issues because of stress.. I lost almost $40,000 and got a call back from them assuring that they will be able to return all the money if I invest $20,000 again.. These ppl are not having any kind of courtesy. I am ready to join hands to complaint about this to our Govt. to block this company. Mistake from our side as well , we should enquire properly before investing our valuable money. Kindly read these review before investing. CHECQ ABO00000VE PIK

I invested the minimum amount but they pretended that I have made a profit which I can't withdraw. The website is not working now. Anytime I try to access the site it shows 403 Forbidden. They are a scam. I am happy I only invested only the minimum amount. They use a clone on MSN about prominent people having invested and made a huge people to entice people to invest and con them. AVOID AT ALL COST!!!

I’ve been trying to get repaid the balance of my initial deposit but my requests were repeatedly rejected with no explanation. I chased again today only to be told there is no money in my account. Checked on line and the balance had been taken as a dormant account fee. A totally bad experience where I’ve been conned out of my money by an unregulated company so there is no financial authority I can ask for their assistance. Avoid like the plague

Curious about Crypto currencies? So was I was I and then I heard about Lyraten who purported to use AI to trade and I decided to dabble. I paid a low 3 figure sum through my credit card to setup an account and see how things progressed. They were based in Sweden (at least the support function was) and I was allocated an account manager who said he was in Geneva. They use VOIP for phone calls and so consequently contacted support to ask for a list of numbers they used so that I knew when I was being called by them but none were forthcoming! The account manager was friendly enough but he was just a voice on a phone and he wanted me to invest 4 figures but I said I wanted to see how things developed before even considering this. Over the next 6 weeks my portfolio virtually doubled although I found out in discussion with him that he had been making the investments not the AI system. He said that I would get better leverage with an increased investment an d said that the company would match my investment to allow me to make a greater return. All the time a voice in my head was saying you know nothing about this man, is it a con, would they double your investment just to reel you in etc? I decided to listen to the voices and requested a refund at which point I was told that due to technical issues they could not refund my credit card and that they could only assist me with the refund via a Bitcoin transfer and I needed to provide them with a Bitcoin wallet to receive the funds. This started a merry go round of account setups to try and achieve this. They recommended Coinbase but for some reason it did not accept my postcode, I then tried each of my daughter’s postcodes and they were rejected by them too. Lyraten then proposed using Coinjar and sent me a link to a youtube setup video – which was based on the Australian version of the App. I set that up on my laptop too but it wanted the App setup on my phone. For some weird and unexplained reason once installed it became Crypto.com but Lyraten dealt with this and transferred my deposit back into it, although the value of Bitcoin had diminished in the intervening time (1 week). Neither of these Apps/Systems have helpful support, when you send them a message the response is they are very busy and it will take time for them to respond. When they do they are as helpful as a chocolate teapot. Still with my deposit at last in Crypto.com I thought I was on the way to recovering it, not so. Lyraten support wanted me to transfer it to Coinjar but when we went down that route we found that Coinjar would not recognise funds received from Crypto.com and would hold them indefinitely! I was not sure what that meant as I couldn’t get a meaningful response form their support desk. Exasperated I resolved to forget about recovering my deposit and put it down to experience however Lyarten then suggested I use Kraken so I went through another setup process and created the necessary account. During which I found that Kraken support were actually responsive and helpful unlike the other crypto platforms I had been directed to. After some 5-6 attempts I managed to get Crypto.com to transfer the funds to my Kraken account and from there I transferred it to my bank (almost three and a half weeks after i started). I was a little dubious and for 2-3 days thereafter I kept checking that it was still in my bank and that the transfer had not been cancelled. The Crypto world is a weird one, with many many ‘currencies’ with weird names. What influences their movement was unclear to me and I would not recommend anyone dabble like I did.

These people are scammers. They have no legal head office. They are not regulated by any type of securities and exchange commission. Lyraten has not been registered as a legal business anywhere in the world. Once they have your money you’ll never get it back. Do not do any kind of business with these scammers. This illegitimate gang of scammers have recently been black listed by the Financial Conduct Authority. Go to the FCA website and check for yourself. After I closed my account, I was refunded with only the amount I deposited/ invested at the beginning. When I rang to ask what happened to the profit that I made, I was told that apparently if you close your account, the company keeps your profit. It's just their policy. You can't even reason with them because the receptionist doesn't make the rules and all she can say is "I'm sorry". It was a total waste of time. They rang almost every day to try to get you to invest more and the whole time they don't let you know their secret policy. Don't go near it!

Stay well away!!!! Signed up last week, read further into the platform and decided not to proceed. Since doing so I have been plagued with spam calls, some with people on the other end, but mostly from auto generators. This has only been happening since I signed up to Luraten.
