Summary
Multiple reviewers describe GMT Investments as a scam using high‑pressure boiler‑room tactics: persistent cold calls, daily contact from different “brokers,” promises of huge unreal profits, and continuous demands to deposit more money. Several reports say representatives asked for remote access to users’ computers, screen sharing and uploading identity documents, which reviewers flagged as major red flags. The company allegedly claims FCA regulation but could not be found in the FCA database, and staff were dismissive when challenged; reviewers also suspect fake five‑star reviews. Common problems include blocked or endlessly delayed withdrawals, accounts being closed or access cut off after deposits, requests to pay upfront “taxes” or additional fees to release funds, and instructions to route transfers via crypto platforms like Binance. Some victims report large losses (examples given: initial €250 pushed toward €5,000, £10,000 lost by one family member, £30,000 in loans taken in a victim’s name, accounts with six‑figure balances later inaccessible), forged or fraudulent account activity, and no response from compliance or listed phone numbers. Multiple writers urge others not to give money, not to share screens or upload IDs, and note that there are ongoing complaints and investigations into the firm.

I come from a land downunder, Australia, where the scanners arms still stretch to. Yes, I've been scammed, account at time I had access was $134,538, now gone, access denied, not a real lot of assistance down this way, if anyone knows someone who could assist I would be eternally grateful What I can say, is these people are nothing more than parasites, to squashed when ever possible. Thank you for reading this review, I live in hope someone will come forward and assist, I wish you all great success in the future.

These horrible people have my life savings and will not give it back! My “account manager” a charming man called Dean Witter took out £30,000 worth of loans in my name. He would put money into my bank account which I then had to transfer back to GMT via Binance to “open up a gateway” to enable my funds to be sent. Wish I read these reviews before getting involved with them. I’ve emailed their compliance dept 19 times and no response. The phone numbers on their website don’t work. DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM - THEYRE CROOKS!!!

They are such a time waster and nothing to brag about; navigating this platform wasn't simple and required revving. gay to put things right.

Please don’t invest with this company. Just learned that my mother has fallen for their scam. She has lost a total of £10.000 As others say, you are encouraged to pay into the scam every month. Then when you want to sell\cash in your investment they ask you to pay the tax up front. Lucky my mother asked for advice before paying. Damaged could have been much more. Still - new computer, change passwords etc

I got scammed big time. I created an account with 250 euro. I got contacted by a broker called Adam how presented him self as a big shot broker from New York that could generate money. He kept calling on daily basis pressuring me to transfer 5000 euro to my account. I told him that I need to see some result from the money I already had in my account. His answer was he wouldn’t spend time on such a little amount. When he couldn’t get through, another broker contacted me as being Adam’s boss, and tried to convince me to transfer more money to the account. When I tried to withdraw the 250 euro from my account, the transfer was peddling for days and didn’t get released. I tried to get In touch with GMT investment with no luck. After a while trying, they just closed down the account, and a messaged said I need to contact my broker. I tried to call and write but no one answers. I just got scammed and lost my money.

Definitely a scam. Asking you to keep adding money. There is no plan to pay out anything. Do not give them any money and do not share screens and do not upload any ID

First, they wanted to connect with remote control to my computer which is a decent RED FLAG. Never ever give 'companies' like this access to your computer! Second, they told they are regulated by the FCA. When I searched FCA database I couldn't find GMT Investments there and told that to the guy that I was speaking... ...he started telling me that "I don't have to prove to you that we're regulated by the FCA." I really wonder who has done all these 5 star reviews.
