FTM Trade customer reviews

Summary
Most reviewers allege FTMTrade is a scam: unregulated, using high‑pressure cold calls and misleading marketing (including fake links and false association with products like “QuantumAI/Elon Musk”), showing inflated account balances and then blocking withdrawals. Customers report repeated demands for extra “taxes” or fees, requests to move funds through crypto wallets, Wise/Binance or encrypted apps, forced additional deposits to release money, account closures and changing website addresses (one reviewer noted the site later became a sex‑toy site). Many describe unresponsive or evasive support, bounced emails, abusive or rude agents, and persistent phone harassment; several people lost thousands and involved Trading Standards, police or solicitors. A few reviewers mention recovering funds only after hiring third‑party recovery services or lawyers, and one or two posted brief positive notes about good support early on. Overall the consensus is to avoid the broker, report it to authorities, and be wary of unsolicited calls, promised high returns, and any request for transfer through third‑party crypto/payment channels.

They made me wish i could go back in time and undo staking my future with them. I had to involve crystalline upturn to save and handle my pull out safely off them.

I put in €250.= and in a few weeks it grew to around 70,000.= in Monopoly-money because it is fake. I had to block around 50 phonenumbers. they changed web-adress and a couple of days ago they did it again. now I cannot log in again because I do not excist. Their policy, "don't contact us, we will contact you. no refund no withdrawl. Thank dog I did not deposit more. If you want to be ripped off..... they are the best in doing so. SCAM SCAM SCAM,

I don’t know if this can be for real,I didn’t invest so much but in 1day from 500€ i get to 9.000€.I asked if I can get this money but they told me to pay 19% taxes to get all the money.I’ve seen a lot of people here writing that never can make the withdrawal. And nobody write about having back some money.

Had to put on 1 star as it won't let you make a comment otherwise. Do not touch them. My husband put in £1,000, then a further £2,000. All went well, it made €27,000. He asked to make a withdrawal of €20,000 was told he would have to pay taxes of £3,600 first, which he did. Then was told he'd have to open a crypto wallet with a further £5,000 to have the funds transferred into, which he did. Then all the money disappeared from his account. He has had repeated calls from people with the "same accent", telling him in order to get his money he needs to pay a further £3,000! We have reported this company to Trading Standards and to Cyber Fraud Team. Only tonight someone else from "Quebec" in Canada called, same accent, and said he was from "accounts", and he was going to pay us our money back. My husband went through all kinds of checks with this guy and "wham", when it came down to it, they wanted him to set up a "Wise" account to pay the money in to and that he needed to pay more money. We asked for his name and he said Anthony Bradley. My husband asked why the funds coukd not just be transferred into his bank account, but was told it had to go through a Wise account! He refused to go any further as we realised it was another scam. We are going to instruct a solicitor tomorrow, who specialises in scams. Please, anyone from FTM feel free to reply to this. You have taken all out savings. Despicable.

FTM trade website address is now a sex toy website! After months of trying to withdraw my funds and receiving a multitude of reasons why I can’t I was told my account will be closed and funds unredeemable - TOTAL SCAM. Any advice on how to report them?

Let them be honest and transparent in their business with first time investors.I am so disappointed by their way of communication whereby you cannot get your money back as you change your mind on investing in the company I sent in money to trade in the 11th of Nov. 2022, and on Monday following I asked that I cancelled the trading for me to withdraw my money back became difficult, only to be told that my money will be sent to a charity.

I initially invested a small amount with FTM. Then was advised invest 2k more to boost profit. I did this. Then was trading away. Got an email saying my account had to be closed because they are no longer trading in Ireland and to withdraw the funds I would have to pay 2.5k taxes! I did this. At this stage there was 17k in my account. Then another agent rang me to say, actually your account has more in it and you will need to pay another 2k taxes to release funds. I did this and haven't heard from anyone since. I cannot withdraw the money in the account and it is meant to close on 22nd December 2022. I am distraught, having been scammed of 7k before Xmas. I have called every day for the past week and have never got an answer except from The support team when I rang. Help!!

Don't give them any money. They will never let you do a withdrawal. I have tried for 3 month and I can't get a single EUR from them. Now all of a sudden they are telling me that my trading was too godt, so I have to pay 20% more into the account or I will not get to take out any money.

I looked at them and realized they're on the unlicensed list, so it's really sad that I had to go through the ordeal for over two months before I did.

Registered interest to QuantumAI, an automated trading tool, allegedly owned by Elon Musk (which turns out later to be false). Minutes later receive a call from a mobile number by a woman on behalf of FTMTrade who sends me an email with a link to edudatacenter.com where I register my details again. At this point she attempts to get me to pay £250 to set up a trading account. Put off by this 'hard sell' I declined. After further investigation, I decide to cancel my subscription. However, my 'account' has no means of deletion. Emailed their support account which bounced back with timeout after 24 hours. Now being hounded by other mobile callers (3 so far) from FTMTrade wanting my money. Will contact Trading Standards if this persists.

It was too late before i realized they are not regulated by FCA or any financial body, it is clear they are fraudulent by operating out of jurisdictions (that is if they actuallt have any regulation and registration in any country). Dealing with ftmtrade is a huge mistake nobody should make in their entire lifetime. withdrawal was not approved I and i was ignored by support as there was no solution to getting all 84,750£ that I put in, i felt down when i saw they are not regulated by fca because automatically no there's Ombudsman for me but i still filed a case with the local police and afp with no breakthrough in findings since August, nobody can be held accountable, I was advised to get the services of Almaxsolution by someone of high rank first week of october because it may take a year or more with the way everything is being handled and restitution might not worth it at all after months of deadlock, if I am in luck enough to force refunds through litigation, I took the advise, filled forms with evidence, and it's been a relief because they've successfully got everything re-funded, I learnt my lesson and I appeal to anyone affected too to find a way out before it's late, after months of no communication, ftmtrade sent an email with "Account Closure notice' citing that I've taken action against them and breached every agreement and I lose the profits, I didn't bother to reply because I am free from them. Careful with ftmtrade folks.

Registered online. Received a call almost straight away and then when I told the person I didn't want to continue the call (as it was unsolicited and inconvenient) was told "why did you register on the website then grow up".

It's impressive, I don't think it requires much further update, the withdrawing option is more clear
