I recently tried to complete full verification with Exness, but my official bank statement was declined as proof of address. This is strange because the same type of document (official bank statement showing name and address) is accepted without issues by several other regulated brokers I've used in the past. Exness seems to have much stricter (or inconsistent) requirements for Proof of Address — even though their own help center lists bank statements as an option, in practice it got rejected. When I contacted live chat to ask for clarification or escalation, the agent (named Jerrie) was not helpful at all. They gave generic answers and showed zero interest in resolving the issue. When I specifically requested to speak with a supervisor to review the rejection, the support team simply ignored my request and didn't care — no escalation, no follow-up, nothing. This experience highlights bigger problems: The compliance team needs better monitoring — their document rules feel overly rigid compared to industry standards. Live chat support is disappointing and unresponsive when issues arise. As a result, I decided not to proceed and lost a potential client (and any future deposits/trading volume). There are many other brokers with smoother KYC processes and better customer care. Unfortunately, 1-star experience for me.
