About ETFinance

ETFinance was the trading name used by Magnum FX (Cyprus) Ltd, a Cyprus Investment Firm that notified cross‑border “freedom to provide services” in the EEA. The brand’s official website operated at etfinance.eu. The Latvian central bank’s supervision register lists the trade names “Magnum Fx; Etfinance” for Magnum FX (Cyprus) Ltd. Latvijas Banka, Official site

On 1 June 2020, the UK Financial Conduct Authority barred Magnum FX (Cyprus) Ltd (trading as “ET Finance”) from offering CFDs in the UK and removed its passporting rights, citing the use of unauthorised celebrity endorsements and other conduct concerns. Shortly thereafter, on 2 June 2020, the Malta Financial Services Authority published a notice that CySEC had suspended Magnum FX’s authorisation; the MFSA later reported that CySEC recalled that suspension with effect from 18 June 2020. The FCA also noted that CySEC had partially suspended Magnum FX’s regulatory authorisation in Cyprus at that time. FCA, MFSA
