About Equity Option Trade
Equity Option Trade is not regulated by any recognized financial authority. The Securities Commission of The Bahamas (SCB) issued a public warning (Public Notice No. 5 of 2022, dated June 20, 2022) stating that Equity Option Trade is conducting financial activities without authorization. No evidence exists that the firm holds valid licenses from SCB or any other regulator. Equity Option Trade falsely claims to be regulated by the “Securities Commission of Florida” (an entity that does not regulate forex or related products) and alleges affiliation with “Equity Option Trade PLC” regulated by the UK Financial Conduct Authority under FRN 434413; however, that registration number actually belongs to ActivTrades Plc, a separate firm. Equity Option Trade has no legitimate regulatory affiliation. The website equityoptiontrade.com appears to be inactive or suspended. ()
