No matter how they explain that to you - you do NOT own assets you spent money on. In banks, or other well trusted platforms you are the owner of the assets. If the bank or platform goes bankrupt you still own the assets. Not in the case of Currency.com!! They have variable availability of listed assets. If you buy a token (thinking it is an asset) of a company/ETF or anything and they decide to remove it from the platform (delist it) your token will be sold automatically. That will force you (not like you have anything to say) to liquidate your asset no matter the price. If that does not convince you yet, the fees/commissions are tremendously high!!!! On top of this, the moment you want to withdraw your money you will face only problems and shady practices -> asking for your ID (again), asking for bills and some video calls. Smells like identity theft!! Do not engage with them.

Edited to reflect facts. My account shows 0 balance, while my own records indicate that there was some money there. No transactions shown, no money in the account. The money are gone without a trace. Positive: Company has very helpful customer service that did the investigation and explained that the rest of the account was used to pay the dormant account fees. Negative: The website has no trace, no transaction logs, no email when fees are applied. Not the level of transparency you would expect from a financial company that holds your cash.

I created an account with Currency.com’s US branch and upon doing so, was prompted to provide valid identification and proof of residence to comply with KYC requirements. My account, and documents were subsequently approved. I made my first deposit transferring .08158426 Bitcoin from my Blockchain.com and received confirmation from Currency.com that my deposit had been received successfully on 8/16/23, but when I went to log in,I received a message to contact their support team as my account was locked. Upon reaching out to support, they requested proof that I owned the wallet that the funds were sent from, which I provided per their instructions and they confirmed via email that my supporting documentation was approved, however, they have not restored my access to my account or returned my Bitcoin to this point. I’ve reached out several times since and each time I’m given some variation of, “our specialists are investigating and we will reach out as soon as we have their response,” but I have not received any sort of timeline as to when either my access will be restored or my funds will be returned. I would highly recommend that NO ONE utilize this company as it very much appears that they are thieves and scammers.

I've got an email from the company today in regards to my account termination because of "Business changes" which is tied to 2.3.1 of clause 2 of the Terms and Conditions of Use of the Cryptoplatform. I've asked them what this means, and the support did not provide any additional information. Hopefully they will provide that information through this review. ****** EDIT ****** I am changing the review to 3 stars, but it should stay up. This type of thing can definitely happen, and it can hit anybody economically if they caught up in the wrong position of any trade.
