About Clearpoint Capital
The FCA lists Clearpoint-fin / Clearpoint Capital as a clone firm that was not authorised or registered by the FCA and was targeting people in the UK. The warning identifies clearpoint-fin.com as the associated website and states that the clone had no association with the genuine FCA-authorised firm Clearpoint Finance Ltd, FRN 932786.
In a press release dated 27 October 2022, CONSOB stated that it had ordered the black-out of the websites identified as “Clearpoint-fin/Clearpoint Capital” for abusive financial services activity in Italy. The listed domains were clearpoint-fin.com and account.clearpoint-fin.com.
The regulatory records do not support treating Clearpoint Capital as an authorised broker. The FCA also states that customers dealing with an unauthorised firm do not have access to the Financial Ombudsman Service or FSCS protection in the manner available to eligible customers of authorised firms.
