Summary
Multiple reviewers describe Cheonan International as an alleged scam operation that uses social media and dating platforms to attract victims, often through individuals posing as romantic interests or trading mentors. Victims were reportedly moved to WhatsApp, introduced to MT5 demo accounts, shown apparently successful trades, and encouraged to open real accounts and continually deposit more money. Some reviewers initially received small withdrawals, which increased their confidence, while others were shown unrealistic profits and persuaded to invest increasingly large sums. Reviewers claim that deposits were often sent to different third-party bank accounts, including accounts in the United States and Lithuania, rather than directly to the broker. When customers later attempted to withdraw larger amounts, they allegedly faced delays, ignored messages, or demands for additional payments described as taxes, verification fees, anti-money-laundering charges, or account-unlocking costs. One reviewer reported losing $5,000 after an account grew to $25,000, another claimed losses exceeding $300,000 after an account supposedly reached more than $700,000, and others said their funds and profits were wiped out entirely. One account alleges that Cheonan manipulated prices by creating an abnormal spike that did not appear with other brokers, forcing a profitable trade into a loss and producing a negative balance. Reviewers also question the company’s claims of regulation and describe its customer service as unprofessional and evasive. Several people say they are collecting evidence, contacting regulators and the media, or considering legal action. Overall, the reviews consistently warn that Cheonan may use fake profits, staged withdrawals, romantic manipulation, pressure to deposit more funds, and withdrawal barriers to take customers’ money.

Same here. A girl named "Coco" got me to this website, showing me how much money she makes because of her "uncle", more than 100k all few days. Gladly i knew right away that it's scam because of her behavior and the weird style of Cheonan's "Customer Service". Actually they are very amateurish, chinese are not that good in scamming. But was fun playing with them. :-) That girl later even admitted to me that it's scam. And i still love her.

Cheanon is a completely fake company. I have lost 300+k with them. I met a Chinese lady online via a dating site and we have been in constant touch for over a year. She suggested that I open a demo account with them and see how I do with her tips. We will trade together and we made a lot of money in a demo account. Then I got tempted and opened a real trading account with them and slowly increased my capital to the tune of 300k and finally my account reached a value of 700+k. I will trade with her almost every week and we will take 30–40k a week which is unrealistic but I was blind and loved the lady, and she will show me she made almost 100k in almost every transaction. In the beginning I withdrew 25k and I was able to do that. They wired the money to my account that built up my confidence with the Cheanon. Once my account reached 700k I tried to withdraw my money. They told me I need to pay 20% taxes. I said okay and please take money from my trading account to pay taxes they said no we cannot do that. So I send them 5k to withdraw 25k. They told me I cannot do that as I had asked to withdraw 350k first so I need to pay 65k to unlock my account now as it is a money laundering case and my account is frozen. So I think i have lost all of my money now I have been chatting with them but they keep giving me runaround to withdraw my money

Hello All, I was recently approached in one of the social media site by a scammer linked to Cheonan International - FX Broker. After short time we moved to Whatsapp and continued our chat there. in about 2 weeks I was asked to check MT5 - Meta trader Demo account of Cheonan and was shown how it works, conseauently leading to openning of real account with them. I was always guidead by the same person who contacted me on the social media who told me when to buy and sell. Over period of few weeks I made a good money and so put more of my funds into the real account. The transfers are always made to a different people in the same bank, many of them with Chinese sounding names. If you are in EU, the destination bank will be most likely in Litahuania, where the regulations are lighter. I have done also a reversed transfer, back to my account and it all went well, increasing confidence. I have set my limit of funds available but was constantly pressured to put more and more. So I decided to make trade myself and try my luck, without any help. After just few days, I was able to triplicate my profit, something amazing for a novice. Obviously, the scammers notices my success and asked me to show them how to do such a successfull trade to them. I was naive enough to show them few trades. In the last one when I was in down transaction, already generating profit, they suddenly orchestrated a significant spike in the price contrary to my position and big enough not only to wipe out all my winnings and initial deposit, but also place me in negative amount. I checked the quote at the same time with other brokers and there was not such a spike present. In other words, the move that wiped out my money was staged by them. There might be other circumstances in which your money is taken from you, but in overall don't spend time and money with them, they are after your money. I am now assembling a legal team to build a case. I have also contacted market regulators in several countries to advice them about the scammer (Cheonan claims in their website they are regulated and they are not). Next week I will be speaking with TV and newspaper editors to tell them my story. I have all the evidence, screenshots, all, ... If you need more information to avoid being scammed, reply to my post. Good Luck to all of you!

Cheonan is a scam company and please stay away from them. I met someone on social media (Kelly, not real name!) and she convinced me to invest in Forex with her and she would help with the data from her uncle. It took me 4 months to do it and I wired my initial deposit of 5K to an East West bank customer in USA, located in California. After a 40 days my account reached 25K and tried to withdraw money from the account just to test them. It took 21 days and they were claiming that the headquarter are verifying my account for the first time. And then they stopped responding me, and I lost everything. I am not going to stop this and I will take many actions to stop this from happening to others. I don't like trust pilot since it is not allowing to publish all the data here. I will publish on other sites.
