About CapitalxTrades

CapitalxTrades presents itself on capitalxtrades.net as a platform offering stocks, cryptocurrencies, copy-trading indices, commodities and options. Its website also states that it offers margin trading and accepts Bitcoin and Tether (USDT) as payment methods.

The website lists four plans: Basic with a minimum of $100, Bronze with $1,000, Silver with $5,000 and Gold with $10,000. The listed plans specify contract periods of three or seven days, automatic payouts and stated returns ranging from 35% to 100%; these are descriptions published by the website and are not regulatory guarantees.

The UK Financial Conduct Authority published a warning on 1 May 2025 stating that CapitalxTrades is not authorised by the FCA and may be providing or promoting financial services without permission. The FCA identified the website as capitalxtrades.net and stated that users would not have access to the Financial Ombudsman Service or Financial Services Compensation Scheme protections when dealing with the firm.

On 27 October 2025, Spain’s Comisión Nacional del Mercado de Valores stated that CAPITALX TRADES and capitalxtrades.net were not authorised to provide investment services or activities covered by Spanish securities legislation and were not authorised to conduct activities reserved for crypto-asset service providers under Regulation (EU) 2023/1114.
