BTrade customer reviews

Summary
Multiple customers allege BTrade is a scam, reporting inability to withdraw funds, long or indefinite delays (often months), and disappearing or unresponsive support despite visible account balances. Many describe aggressive sales tactics and repeated phone calls from rotating account managers who pressure clients to deposit large sums, threaten account closure, or disable trading algorithms when clients refuse to add funds. Communication channels are poor: platform chat is slow or unmonitored, emails are ignored or give irrelevant replies, there is no reliable toll‑free phone line, and some users report harassing calls that persist even after blocking numbers. Several reviewers say the platform defaults to Bitcoin, forcing users to open secondary accounts to convert crypto, and that support asks them to install AnyDesk, raising fears of remote access and compromised security. Initial trading often shows rapid gains and small successful test withdrawals, creating trust, but larger withdrawal attempts are later denied or stalled while account balances remain. Some users noticed the website later became insecure or went down, and they have filed complaints with card issuers or regulators (Mastercard, FCA) and consider legal action. A few isolated comments praise specific account managers for being helpful or educational, but these are outweighed by widespread reports of withheld funds, poor transparency of trades, account management changes, and emotional and financial distress.

Not to seem mushy, but this is a terrible website, and you will not get compensated, Atal. Not being able to withdraw has been the primary issue. I made the correct choice by giving Good merit, a chance. They do provide compensation.

Tried to withdraw money a few times could not get it out, now getting multiple calls a day from very rude people asking me to give them access to my computer so they can get my money back. There website is now down. Pure scam by the looks of it. Goodbye to my money.

I've used them to invest approx £44k Bitcoins. Withdrew the coins nearly 3 months ago, but still have not received funds. No confirmation of assets, Contacted customer service on numerous occasions by email including raising a ticket and received only one response which was completely non specific. I've read on various customer discussion sites that all of the above experiences are very common with these guys. This is appalling and disgraceful behavior. My pockets are easy access and they are withholding my money without explanation. I will be reporting to the FCA and taking this to chasunahltd.com.

I originally registered through Quantum AI Canada and got redirected to btrade.net. I made the minimum deposit to start and all they did was try to get me to deposit more.. I have been through this B.S. before. They do what is called caller ID spoofing which is one way calling from numbers not in service. Also these losers ask to use Anydesk and use it to get at your personal information.. I personally have dealt with this,, I have waisted their time pretending to go along with them and their methods and have gotten under the skin of a few of them. They get sooky when they don’t get their own way. Lol. I can only say to interested people in trading to do your homework and don’t fall for their B.S. these people are highly intelligent and prey on inexperienced people. So be careful to all and do your research.. God bless…. P.S. I would like to say to Terri who wrote a review. I also suffer from mental health issues and have struggled all my life. I started getting into trading so I could build something to leave behind after I pass for my two sons. It didn’t work with my Ex but I still have two sons that I created and I love them with all my heart. It’s sad that these people scam people like us. It has to change, with all the technology we have these days it’s sad that these people can still get away with their pathetic scams. It has to change and I will find a way to get back at these people for doing this cowardly way of profiting from honest innocent people. It truly breaks my heart and it has to change. I hope the right person sees my review and agrees with the point I am trying to get across.. once again I stress to people to do your homework before you jump into any endeavours. That’s the only thing I have gained from my bad experiences like this is the right and wrong of things. Please be careful my good people and god bless….

I once browsed the website to see what B-Trader was about and made the mistake of giving them my phone number. A customer service rep called me very shortly thereafter and gave me a rundown on how they work. I said I would call if I decided to proceed, with no intent to do so as I am not in that financial position. They have not stopped calling me since which makes me believe this company is a scam. I have bad mental health, I’m now disabled, I’m on benefits and no matter how many times I block their number, they call me from a new one. I have even asked them to remove my number from their calling list and they told me no! This is harassment and if it does not stop and happens one more time, I will take the matter further. I should not be forced to change my phone number so that I no longer receive these calls.

I joined BTrade in March 2024. Great advisor assigned and then did ask for further funds, okay invested. Got regular calls and he trade for me and I was earning money on a regular basis. Then calls stopped and I just let it ride. Last trade was the 22 July 2024 and no contact or trade since. I have sent advisor e mails and sent company e mails and never received response. Two days ago when I typed BTrade.net in search bar I now get a message that the sight is no longer secure and the certificate is not valid. Guess I should have known not to invest when it was crypto.

This company btrade.net was looking legitimate at the start but I soon found them more and more unreputable after getting me to invest more which I did twice then they switched my brokers and wanted more investment I said no to that and now can not contact them at all since I asked to withdraw my money my account still shows a balance in there but can't reach them no response!

Short version: I had a very negative experience with this company. I believe their practices are unethical and misleading. Long version: CONTACT: A friend or acquaintance who seemed to be doing well with them introduced me to the company. They mentioned being able to withdraw money without issues and highlighted high weekly returns. THE ILLUSION: Upon joining, there was almost daily communication with a very friendly trader who seemed genuinely interested in getting to know me. They facilitated communication via WhatsApp, shared personal stories, and created a trusting atmosphere. My investments appeared to double or triple within weeks through multiple daily trades. Initially, I was able to withdraw part of my investment quickly, which encouraged me to recommend the company to others. THE CHANGE: Eventually, the situation changed. The trader I trusted disappeared, making communication difficult. Withdrawal requests were indefinitely put on hold. Attempts to contact the company resulted in vague responses and delays. UNLABELLED: Anxiety set in as communication became scarce and inconsistent. Eventually, my account balance showed a significant loss due to numerous failed trades executed without proper risk management or stop-loss measures. Attempts to resolve the situation were met with unhelpful responses. RESULT: I ended up losing my money. Initial Red Flags: They only call you; you cannot reach them directly. The platform lacks two-factor authentication. Trades on the platform are not transparent or verifiable. Trades are loaded at specific times, not in real-time.

I tried to do research on this Company before signing up, but Google didn't provide any results. I deposited the minimum money required, and the account manager walked me through everything including withdrawing money. I "withdrew" $15 to test per his suggestion. Here comes the same story as others, I get constant calls from a new account manager and she tries to get me to deposit to buy BTC, because they'll match up to a certain amount. You keep whatever profits minus the matched portion. I deposited $3K more naively. She got angry when I couldn't deposit more. They also turned off the algorithm or AI trading when I didn't deposit more. A senior manager then calls trying to get me to deposit more, but I declined. I requested AI trading to be turned back on and it only turned back on after I told the new female account manager that the senior manager said to turn it back on. Forward to now and I'm trying to withdraw money, the chat feature is now gone replaced by e-mail only support and I still haven't heard back from anyone. Hopefully, this helps people doing research on this fraudulent company to avoid them at all costs.

I requested a withdrawal of funds to have my investment returned and there was no positive action. I would get calls from someone new repeatedly, having to start over again. It has been 3 months. Once I was clear that I would not send them money, that they couldn't even return a small amount successfully, and I had lost any possibility of trust in their service, they have since stopped contact. Now there are so many more reviews out there to warn people that this company is a scam; I regret falling for it early on and am thankful it was a small loss.

* You are required to open a BTrade account. * I was told it would be easy to withdraw my funds. This is a lie. * They have an online chat program, on their platform site, but nobody monitors it on a daily basis. My first message took 4 days to get a response and the response had nothing to do with my query. Their chat on their home page is more effective. * They have an email account for "support". After 3 days, still no reply. Update, I finally received a reply. Useless, unrelated and not at all helpful, but a reply nonetheless. * They do not have a toll free number. Clients are forced to wait for an unscheduled call within an unreasonable time frame and several days apart if you miss their call. * I have tried to withdraw my funds on 08Mar2024 and I have not received any funds or assistance from their "support" team. * What they don't tell you is that they use bitcoin as the default currency. * Because of this, you need to open a second account with another platform to transfer the bitcoin and convert it to USD or in my case CAD. That second account, is with VirgoCx. They have similar functions and products. so I now have 2 useless accounts. * They tell you to install a program called AnyDesk so that they can help you navigate through the platform. That may be true, but now I don't know if my PC has been breached. * I told them I wanted to keep the minimum funds required to open the account and monitor it's performance. * After some correspondence via WhatsApp, email and phone calls, I grow leery of this organization's intent when they use a very aggressive approach in trying to get me to deposit tens of thousands of dollars into my account. * When I told them I wanted to keep monitoring and test the platform, their representative became irate, aggravated and more aggressive and continued to pressure me into depositing more funds. * After my continued and repeated refusal to "invest" in their platform, he threatened to close my account. * While my account appeared to be growing in size managed by their "bot", I continued with my research on BTrade including the reviews on this site. * As I gather more and more information, it appears that I have become an unwilling victim. * For those that provided a POSITIVE review, I would like to know about their experience in WITHDRAWING THEIR FUNDS. Any takers? I thought so. In other words, positive reviews are FAKE!!! Update: 11Apr2024. My response to BTrade's rebuttal posted below: * Why reply in Spanish? Fear of ridicule from english speaking majority??? * All comments are obviously my opinion based on my experience with your organization. * I've only posted facts backed by names, dates, emails, phone records, chat transcripts and screenshots which I'd be happy to upload, but the readers are already tasked with reading this novel. * Some of the information may unknowingly incriminate your associates. (as much as I'd like to expose them) * Are you DAFT? Of course it's not my real name, I value my privacy like most people. * The platform I am referring to is "platform dot btrade dot net" and the home page is "btrade dot net". The Chrome browser tab would display a triangle inside a circle icon. Your logo is a white "B" inside circular arcs. I hope this clarifies any misunderstanding. * Additionally, my issue remains unresolved and the 4th account manager assigned to me has failed to reach out in a timely manner. * Why is another account manager assigned when your associate from the chat program indicates it's the finance department that has the final decision on approving or denying a withdrawal? Incidentally flawed again. Other than money laundering, why would you deny access to my or anyone else's funds? * Finally, what is the reason for not providing a toll free number? Clients are forced to wait for an unscheduled call with no reasonable time frame. Update: 27Apr2024 * I have sent 4 emails to the 4th account manager. Still no reply or any form of communication. * I filed a complaint with Mastercard. I asked for my original deposit to BTrade to be reversed. * Even though my funds have grown in size, it is worthless if I can't withdraw it. * By filing the complaint, Mastercard is now dealing with BTrade directly and is now investigating. * This is the best way to get your money back and also flag Btrade in the process. * If Mastercard continues to receive complaints and I strongly recommend everyone else to do this, eventually Mastercard will stop allowing transactions with BTrade avoiding future potential victims.

I opened an account with btrade December 8, 2023 and today December 12, 2023 when I logged in my account balance was 0. There is no way to contact anyone from the site. I have sent emails to Jamie Blunt who originally sent me a welcome email with login info but have not had a response from him.

It has been nice and easy to work with the portfolio manager Niklaus. He is very good at explaining things related to investing to a beginner.
