Atlas Trade Finance, also referred to as Atlas Finance, is listed by the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) as an unauthorised firm. The FCA warning was first published on 3 December 2024 and identifies atlas-finance.org as the associated website. The FCA states that the entity is not authorised by the FCA and may be targeting people in the UK.
The FCA states that the unauthorised entity used the details of the genuine UK company Atlas Trade Finance Limited, company number 03463250, whose registered office is Wiston House, 1 Wiston Avenue, Worthing, West Sussex, BN14 7QL. The regulator expressly states that this genuine company has no connection with the entity named in the warning. Customers dealing with the unauthorised entity are not eligible for the Financial Ombudsman Service or Financial Services Compensation Scheme protection.
On 14 February 2025, the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) issued a warning stating that atlas-finance.org does not belong to an entity authorised to provide investment services or perform investment activities under Article 5 of Law 87(I)/2017. CySEC listed the domain in its warning and advised investors to verify authorisation through its official website before conducting business with an investment firm.
