Summary
Multiple reviewers allege Ashford Capital is a scam that uses fake reviews and false claims of being UK‑based and FCA‑regulated; many say the company is actually offshore and unregistered. Customers report account managers with names like Adam Louis, Mike Goldman, Jay Gold, Sydney Cohen and Jason Wells who build trust, pressure clients to deposit more, sometimes allow small withdrawals, then block or suspend accounts when larger withdrawals are requested. Common excuses include rare “technical glitches,” requests to pay release fees, taxes or blockchain payments to retrieve funds, and demands to remove negative reviews in exchange for returning money. Traders also complain of rigged trading conditions and extreme spreads (one claim cites up to 100 pips on EUR/USD). Customer service is described as unresponsive or evasive—calls and emails allegedly ignored—and many report substantial losses (hundreds of thousands cited). A few reviewers mention successful recovery of funds via external tracing, but the dominant sentiment is distrust and a warning to avoid the firm.

I invested with this company, thinking I was making a smart financial decision. Everything looked good on their fake investment dashboard, and they even encouraged me to add more funds. But when I wanted to withdraw, I suddenly had to pay "release fees" and "taxes"—it was all lies. Thankfully, I found the name on my profile picture, who traced my stolen money and got it back for me!

THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM!!!! AND A LOT OF THE REVIEWS ON TRUSTPILOT , WHO I TRUSTED, ARE NOT REAL!!! Ashford Capital Investments and their minions, Mike Goldman, Sydney Cohen, Jason Wells, ALL VERY NICE FAKE NAMES, will call you regularly, have video sessions with market trends, earn your trust over months, let you withdraw once in a while, then when they get more money out of you ...THAT'S IT!!! NO CORRESPONDENCE, NO CALL, CAN'T GET THROUGH TO THEIR BS CUSTOMER SERVICE !! Then months later they call you to say you have a huge amount of money in your interest earning, no risk account but as it is financial year end, you need to pay tax and their commission to get it out. YEAH RIGHT!!!!! I have to pay money and pluck it out of my butt to get my money out!!! TOTAL SCAM DON'T DO IT. I HAVE LOST A LOT OF HARD EARNED MONEY BECAUSE OF THESE CRIMINALS!!!!

Fake names, lack of transparency, off shore company, unregistered, well scripted lip service. The combination spells disaster. And…it is. 11 mths later and I’ve lost $0000. I’ve asked Mike Goldman Ist account manager and Sydney Cohen my current account manager in emails and phone calls to make what money is in my account available to me - answer is No with obscure reasons. I have persisted with at first phone calls and now emails where I am now totally ignored, and that includes my email requests to customer service. In fact any questions I have asked to customer service has been ignore. The situation is extreme, disgraceful and a ploy to extract as much money as they can.

Do not invest with Ashford Capital. Sydney Cohen has been my account manager for 3 months and has not done 1 trade for me. He does not return my phone calls or emails. Extremely disappointing company

I was looking to grow my money This has been a bad experience for me I started off with account manager Adam Louis things were looking bad ,then I was passed onto another account manager jay gold strait away asking for more money, then he wiped out most of the account. Then was past onto another manager Sydney cohen and he also asked for more money. I have since asked for a withdrawal on the 27/1/22 and Sydney was getting annoyed with me and I am still waiting for my money back. Things don’t look good at this point. It seems that this company is not in the UK and are definitely not regulated by the FCA that they claim to be I have emailed them many times about this he knows exactly who I am Sydney Cohan has since called me and asked me to remove this review before he will return my money, you tell me my account is liquid so why not get this withdrawal completed

Hi there I’m new to Ashford capital, I’ve started with initial amount. I’ve been trading now and them since few months. On today I’d a good trading ( I guess it’s real) my account reached to few US mills and requested withdrawal of 100K withdrawal . My a/c manager called me saying that there was a technical glitch which happens once in ten years, like me it was effected about 7 users. I’m not sure it’s real. Just requesting others users if you come across this kind of experience. Now they have suspended my a/c and said they are going to come back to me later. I need e pers advice on this matter. My accountant and lawyers would like to this matter further. Your valuable advice is much appreciated on this regard, Thanks in advance,

I suggest most of the reviews about this company are bogus and paid. The company supposedly resides in the UK but its name is not registered. They say they don't need to be registered to trade but I don't believe them. There Forex markets are rigged with spreads of up to 100 pips on EURUSD. If you have ever traded Forex you would know this is crazy. Avoid at all costs!
