About Areatrading
Regulatory notices identify Areatrading as an unauthorised firm. The UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) warning, first published on August 16, 2022 and updated on October 18, 2022, states that areatrading.io and areatrading.pro were used by a clone firm trading as “AreaTrading Advisors LTD.” The FCA states that the firm was not authorised or registered by the FCA and had no association with the genuine firm it claimed to represent.
The FCA identified the genuine authorised firm as Aream Advisors LTD, with FCA Firm Reference Number 927476, operating from www.aream.co. The Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority’s investor alert dated August 19, 2022 states that Areatrading was not authorised or supervised in Sweden, that no cross-border notification had been received from another EEA country, and that the authority could not determine Areatrading to be a real company.
