About Quaero Capital Pro

Quaero Capital Pro operates websites including quaerocapital.pro, quaerocapital.trade, and quaerocapital.world. These are not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and have been identified as clone firms, fraudulently misusing the identity of the FCA‑authorised Quaero Capital LLP (FRN 434203, based in London), with which they have no connection. The FCA published warnings first on 19 October 2023 (last updated 2 February 2024), designating these as clone operations.

The French Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF) blacklisted quaerocapital.pro on 23 October 2023 and quaerocapital.trade on 15 November 2023 under “usurpation” (impersonation of an authorized entity).

Quaero Capital LLP is the legitimate authorised firm (FRN 434203) regulated by the FCA, located at 5 Swallow Place, London W1B 2AF . The clone sites falsely purport connection to this entity, misleading investors.

Quaero Capital SA (Geneva) and Quaero Capital (France) SAS are legitimate, regulated entities: the former is a FINMA‑regulated asset manager based in Switzerland, and the latter is approved by the AMF under number GP‑14000016 as of 17 June 2014, with respective oversight policies in place. These entities explicitly disavow any connection to Quaero Capital Pro and caution against fraudulent solicitations.
