About KAB

KAB Strategy Limited (registration number HE 165975) maintained a Cyprus Investment Firm (CIF) licence (No. 058/05) from the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC), which it voluntarily renounced effective March 1, 2023. The decision to cease providing investment services and refund eligible client funds was announced via the company’s official communications.

The firm offered several account types. The “HK/China Stocks Account” enabled trading in IPOs, warrants, ETFs and equities via a HK/China securities trading platform. The “KAB MT4 Account” permitted trading of CFDs on indices, energies, precious metals and forex on the MT4 platform; it allowed Islamic (swap-free) usage, supported base currencies GBP, EUR, USD, offered leverage up to 1:500, and supported Expert Advisors (EAs). The “ECN Forex Account” provided access to forex instruments via the Currenex ECN platform, was swap-free (Islamic), and allowed use of EAs with up to 1:500 leverage in USD base currency. A “Portfolio Management Account” was also available, Islamic and EA-supported, though specific instruments were not detailed. Hedging, scalping and negative balance protection were not permitted.

Who it’s for

  • Clients seeking HK/China equity exposure via a dedicated securities trading platform
  • Traders preferring high leverage (up to 1:500) and Islamic account options
  • Users of automated trading (EAs) on both MT4 and ECN (Currenex) platforms
