About ChartChampions
The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) issued a Warning Notice concerning an unauthorised firm operating under the domain chartchampions.online, stating that it may be providing or promoting financial services or products in the UK without permission. The firm is not authorised by the FCA, and dealing with it would exclude access to both the Financial Ombudsman Service and the Financial Services Compensation Scheme. (Warning published on 24/03/2023 and updated on 20/12/2024)
ChartChampions falsely claims regulation by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC), but does not appear in ASIC’s official registry. Research confirms absence of any valid regulatory approval, and the operation is therefore unregulated.
Pros and cons
Cons
- No regulatory oversight; not authorised by any recognised financial regulator (FCA, ASIC, SEC, BaFin).
- FCA-issued warning explicitly labels it as unauthorised and potentially scam.
- False claims of ASIC regulation.
